- Her mother and father still live in Newark and try to visit her almost every month.
- She is an only child but her home always had foster kids running through it.
- Ellie got into the FBI because she got caught hacking into the departments data base. She was trying to check into a foster kid's parents backstory.
- The FBI placed her in to Counter Terrorism as a tech analyst for about two years before getting transferred to the BAU to help Garcia.
