Emily and JJ have a fun night with their team members and make some questionable decisions. Will this night change their lives for better or for worse. Things keep changing and the team isn't sure if they can keep up in the fight for their lives everyone must adjust as people they think of as family come and go. ~situation with Will and Henry will be explained, set in season 5, Ages are not canon, contains some mature themes. Blake, Prentiss and Elle are all at BAU at the same time. ~ships are Hotchniss, Jeid, Blossi and MorganxElle ~Blake's husband is dead cause I said so.

When the BAU is called in on an emergency domestic homicide, a young boy survives after witnessing his father kill his mother. He refuses to speak to anyone but Emily - the first person who finds him, the only one he trusts. As she becomes his anchor through the investigation and the courtroom, Aaron is forced to watch her do for this child what he once pushed away from his own life. The case unfolds slowly, painfully - mirroring their own fracture - and as the boy finds the courage to speak the truth out loud, Aaron and Emily are confronted with the things they never said. This is a story about grief, about the children left standing in the aftermath, and about whether love can survive the silence meant to protect it.

This is just basically a story of after Aaron Hotchner left the BAU that ive came up with. Im also going to let you know this is a dyslexic who has never wrote a story in their life asides from primary school... so any gramatic errors im sorry lmao... anyways here a brief: After leaving wittness protection, Aaron finds himself choosing over a job or keeping him and his son safe, he grabs his phone, reluctently makes a phone call to say he has decided to leave. Jack is more important and Aaron would rather give him a great life instead of worrying that he may be in danger, he may of have had Haley in his mind making the decision, because after what happened with Foyet, he doesnt want to lose another person he loved whilst working a case. Making this desision was never the easiest and Aaron would have never have thought of the day where he would have to leave on such short notice, part of him was thinking about changing his mind however he knew the BAU would understand his choice with no judgement involved, so he hopes anyways.

I get out of bed and walk to the closet. I get dressed in my baby blue button up shirt, black pants, lace up leather boots, and my jacket. I do my makeup and look at myself in the mirror, my dark brown hair that stops at the end of my shoulder blades, the piercing blue eyes I must have got from my father, and my facial features that there's no doubt I got from my mother.
