Four years after her mission, Emily decided it was time for a new beginning and moved back to the States to pursue her dream career, with her three-year-old toddler in tow. Navigating motherhood and the unpleasant feelings her new boss unwittingly stirred within her, Emily struggled to hide the enjoyment she felt from the light he brought into her life. And in a precarious situation she was too complacent to recognize, she found herself happy and content. But she would soon discover that she was never fully untethered from her past- no matter where she went or the oceans she crossed, some shadows simply never faded; their grip remained unyielding. Slowly, the wall she had built to protect herself began to crack, its segments fracturing, allowing old ghosts to creep through the gaps and reenter her world.

Their Unsub has an axe to grind with not only the BAU but the FBI. Will they be able to catch him in time?

This is just basically a story of after Aaron Hotchner left the BAU that ive came up with. Im also going to let you know this is a dyslexic who has never wrote a story in their life asides from primary school... so any gramatic errors im sorry lmao... anyways here a brief: After leaving wittness protection, Aaron finds himself choosing over a job or keeping him and his son safe, he grabs his phone, reluctently makes a phone call to say he has decided to leave. Jack is more important and Aaron would rather give him a great life instead of worrying that he may be in danger, he may of have had Haley in his mind making the decision, because after what happened with Foyet, he doesnt want to lose another person he loved whilst working a case. Making this desision was never the easiest and Aaron would have never have thought of the day where he would have to leave on such short notice, part of him was thinking about changing his mind however he knew the BAU would understand his choice with no judgement involved, so he hopes anyways.

With only a couple of weeks before Christmas, Aaron Hotchner can't quite put himself in the mood to celebrate. David Rossi hears about this and decides that it just won't do. He invites himself to help Aaron get in the holiday spirit; Aaron can't really say he's disappointed by the intrusion.

After a tough year, he finally felt like he found a balance between work, his son, and his love life, happiness in a way. But life had always been full of surprises, sometimes unpleasant ones, but some other times, it was for the better.

When Alessandra Henderson joins the BAU, the team starts to place bets on when Hotch and her will get together, but little do they know, they've been married for the last 5 years.

In den sechs Wochen nachdem Emily gegangen war passierte nicht viel außer das JJ sich ihre Liebe zu Aaron eingesteht aber für sie ist Aaron denkbar Unerreichbar, wegen einem Versprechen zwischen ihr und Emily.

I get out of bed and walk to the closet. I get dressed in my baby blue button up shirt, black pants, lace up leather boots, and my jacket. I do my makeup and look at myself in the mirror, my dark brown hair that stops at the end of my shoulder blades, the piercing blue eyes I must have got from my father, and my facial features that there's no doubt I got from my mother.
