3rd pov

Hanabi Hyuga walked over to her father Hiashi's hospital room, eyes still red and puffy from crying on the floor only a few moments earlier. He had been recovering quickly due to the combined efforts of the three best medical ninjas in the five lands.

"Father . . ." She reminisced the times when Hinata would come into her room late at night so that she would play ninja after training.

"Hanabi, come here." He spoke. The young girl pulled a chair up to her father's bed and listened carefully. "What I am about to tell you is very important. You must do exactly as I say."

Meanwhile, in Hinata's room

"So," A man spoke while entering the room. "You are the "new" Hinata, hm?"

Shooting daggers from her eyes, she watched as the familiar face walked towards and stood over her. She said no words, but he still knew what she was thinking.

"You don't have to talk to me. All you really need to do is listen, at least for now." He leaned in closer. "The time for talking will come, and when it does, you will talk. They will make sure of that." His words were laced with poison. Poison that could no longer harm Hinata.

"Neji." She said, returning his venom. "You've never cared before, why bother now?"

"I don't remember saying that I cared about you. I simply wanted you to know just how much pain you will be in when the elders come for you." He began to walk away, towards the door. "Not to mention the fact that you kidnapped two important ninja from our village and even tortured one of them."

Hinata stayed silent, contemplating what she had done. She remembered what she saw earlier. All the fun times she had with her team, with her friends. The two Hyuga glared at each other, unwavering until a voice broke their concentration.

"Neji? Are you in here?"

Tenten pov

Neji left training early saying that he had something he needed to do. None of us knew what the hell was happening because, of course, NOTHING was actually important to THE Neji Hyuga other than training with his uncle. The problem with this was, Lord Hiashi was in the hospital recovering from the battle against the Akatsuki.

Where the hell is he going?

"Tenten!" Guy-sensei yelled my thoughts away. "Come with us and show everyone the power of youth!"

I looked at the two walking towards me on their hands with what I'm sure was pure disgust. "I, uh, actually have something I need to do too . . . Yeah, that's it . . ." I said as I looked back where Neji went.

"Well, that's okay!" Lee yelled as he and Guy-sensei ran off into the distance.

That got rid of them, at least . . .

I quietly followed the Neji until I lost him inside the busy hospital. After looking around for a while, I finally gave up and asked the nurse at the front desk.

"Excuse me, ma'am?" I asked. "Do you know where a 'Neji Hyuga' is?"

"Yes, he is just down that hall, third door on the left, number 263."

"Thank you!" I began walking towards the room when she called out again.

"Erm, miss? Just so you know, that patient is potentially dangerous. Please be careful."

I smiled and continued walking until I reached the door. I heard Neji's voice coming from inside and almost walked in until I heard something that scared me.

"I simply wanted you to know just how much pain you will be in when the elders come for you."

Is he talking to Hinata? Why is he threatening her? Aren't they family? A million questions ran through my head. When it sounded like they were done talking, I decided to head in. Little did I know what was waiting on the other side of the door.

Hey, I'm back! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I hope you are willing to wait for the next one because it might take a while . . . Sorry. But I can't wait to finally get to the next part! Thank you for reading and have a good day!
