Chapter 24 - Fox

3rd pov

"Naruto!" Kurenai yelled. "Naruto you have to wake up!" She knew what would happen to him if they were unable to break the jutsu that was pulling the Nine-tailes, and his entire life force, out of him.

"Use the power of youth, Naruto! Use it to break free!"

Naruto just barely heard their words, but knew what they wanted him to do. He allowed himself to slip into his unconsciousness to find the demon within him. This wasn't really a difficult task, as he knew where it was caged.

"Boy . . . " The creature growled. "Let me out . . I will give you my power. Quicky now, boy, my power is being drained from me at this very moment."

"Why should I?"

"Because if my power leaves it's vessel, or in this case you, both of us will die." Naruto's eyes widened.

After a few seconds if thinking, Naruto sighed. "If I let you out, are you going to rampage and hurry friends, or am I going to be able to regain control?"

"No promises."

"I guess . . . I really have no other choice do I?" Naruto walked up and grabbed the seal keeping the Fox at bay. "Wait."

"What now, boy?"

"I just want to know," He began. "Do you have a name? Something I can call you. If we're going to be partners I mean."

The fox paused, contemplating his response. "You may call me . . . Kurama."

Naruto nodded with a smile on his face. "Alright Kurama. Let's do this." He tore the seal off and the Nine-tailed Demon Fox was free.

Konan pov

I suppose there's nothing more for me to do here. Then it's time to take care of the rest if them.

*large explosion sound effects* I really don't know what to say . . . Boom?

I was thrown back into the wall by an explosion of chakra in front of me.

"What was-" I began. "No, what IS that!?" The boy with the Nine-tailes inside him somehow escaped the extracting jutsu and simultaneously learned how to control the demon.

"Naruto!" The three Leaf Shinobi left standing yelled.

What stood in front of me was not a boy, not even a human. It was the demon itself. A snarling beast of unimaginable power.

"Don't touch . . . My friends!" He, or it, growled. "It's time . . . For us to leave . . . Now get out of my way." Out of complete fear, I complied.

I- . . . I can't move . . . The chakra emiting from this thing . . . I can't believe it. Did he really learn how to control the Fox while unconscious?

Naruto pov

Can you get us out of here Kurama?

Do you really need to ask?

Weeelllll . . .

Of course I can get us out of here, idiot.

Man, Kurama's kinda mean . . .

You do realize that I can hear everything you're saying, right?

I froze immediately. Kurama was terrifying and seriously pissed . . . And that is something you do NOT want to mess with.

We began moving toward Bushy Brows to help him out with the paper thing attacking him.

"Kurama!" I yelled out loud. "Lend me your power!" We completely destroyed it in a matter of seconds because of our combined strength.

"Now Kurama, let's bust out of here!"
