You Are Mine

CHAPTER 34

"Thanks. Now.. I know you're not much of a makeup gal, so, how  about a natural look with a cat eye twist and some alluring lipstick, huh?" Lily beamed, her smoky eye look giving her an appealing touch. I nodded, unsure of the final results. I tried picturing it but failed.
After she completed working on my face, I didn't bother glancing at the results because Lily is the best. Why does she always use waterproof makeup?

I walked out of the room only to bump into Logan. Before I could stagger backwards into Lily, he held me in his arms and that's when I noticed our striking he looked. His messy chestnut locks were sleekly pulled back, bringing out his sharp features. Why does he look so hot?  

The purple dress shirt he wore made him look like a movie star. I couldn't help but notice his biceps bulge within his shirt. After thoroughly examining him, I finally broke out of trance. I met his gorgeous orbs only to have his already staring intensely at me. His eyes gave off affection and extreme fondness. He stared at me for about seven minutes before he finally spoke.

"Sugarplum..... you're...... you look..... wow! I'm speechless. I'm literally blown away at this point.If you hadn't pinched me I think I wouldn't have inhaled cause you took my breath away" I felt my cheeks instant flush. A smile crept onto my lips as he held me closer to him.

"Well, you look quite alluring yourself" I complimented.

"Thanks to my artistry! " Lily interrupted, making us glance in her direction.

"No. I'd actually prefer my queen without makeup because she has no need of it" Logan commented again. 

Lily rolled her eyes and replied sassily, "I know she doesn't but you do" her words made me snicker even though I tried hard not to. Logan gave her a frown but before he could give a witty reply she ran away.

He held out his hand to me. "Shall we?" I took his hand and walked outside, to the backyard where everyone else was.

"Looks like you've gone beyond elegancy" my dad commented.  

"You don't a day older than forty" I complimented. A table was arrayed with some of my favorite dishes making my stomach rumble. I need food!

"Happy birthday girly" I turned to face Brian, a smile on his face. Then I noticed the girl beside him. A tall blonde with a sweet face. She's like a fusion of cute and attractive. Her sea blue eyes radiated kindness, that matched the short, blue bodycon dress she wore. 

"Yolanda, this is Katie. Katie, this is the birthday girl" Brian introduced her. I extended my hand for a handshake but she embraced me instead. She loves hugs too!? I like her already. 

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry if I'm being too touchy" Katie said in her sweet voice.

"The pleasure is all mine. I've been so excited to meet you and you're being too touchy. I'm also a hugger" I winked at her as she squealed in happiness. What a bubbly character. No wonder Brian's dating her.

"Oh Brian thank you for the dress. I love it but the card is kind of cringey" I thanked and stated the obvious. I'm just stating the facts.

" A dress? I haven't even bought a dress for my own girlfriend, how would I buy you a dress? Especially since I don't even know your size but I'll take the credit" Brian chuckled. 

"You're joking right?" I replied in a serious tone.

"I wish I could but no. I needed help from Katie to get you something and I got you a bracelet. Here" he handed me the rectangular box.

"Then who gave me this?" I asked more to myself than them.

"Well  whoever it is, they spent lots on that" Katie gestures towards my dress.
