Stolen off of Tumblr uwu

1. poetry or prose

     Prose

2. dialogue or description

     Description

3. favorite character you've ever written

I really love them all tbh. I'm really liking Diary!Margaret Malachite in Long Live tho ngl

4. least favorite character you've ever written

I don't fucking know. Probably one of the girls from my first few original works (found in Fever Dream uwu) or the original version of Marina Kersey

5. favorite character trait to write

Is gay a character trait?? Cause I love my wlw and wlnb

6. favorite character name you've come up with

One of the only character names I've ever put a lot of thought into was Margaret Malachite back when I was like 13? 14? Cause I wanted to stick with the alliteration of the rest of the Hogwarts Founders but I didn't know what letter to pick. And then I realized that Godric and Helga were right next to each other in the alphabet and Rowena and Salazar were as well so I found the median letter between H and R and it was M. So I named her Margarette Malachite before pushing it down to Margaret.

7. biggest weakness in writing

I'm really fucking bad at dialogue, or at least relevant dialogue that pushes the plot.

8. biggest strength in writing

I think I'm good at I guess it would be called description. But not like physical description? Idk how to describe it but Chapter Four of Long Live is chock full of it. Whatever that's called I'm not bad at.

9. favorite trope

     Found family my beloved

10. least favorite trope

     Love triangles my beloathed

11. author you look up to

     Kitty

12. favorite book/piece you've written

I still really like uhm Children Who Chase Lost Voices From the Deep Below which is just a little TVD Drabble in Fever Dream

13. favorite line you've written

Oh uhm. "It was going to rain." It's the last line for the first chapter of Whatever Gods Are. I'm very excited.

14. fanfiction or original work

It's tough 'cause I feel like a lot of my fanfiction is starting to twist into like it barely takes place in the canon universe. Like the original version of Long Live (Fifth Founder) took place in the Golden Trio era and but the new version takes place in the Marauder's first year and has an entirely OC cast. Like it's pretty much an original story that just happens to take place at Hogwarts.

15. favorite genre to write in

     Fantasy my beloved

16. heavy description or little description

     Heavy. I think. Idk.

17. first person, second person, or third person

Third. But I also love second person when the You is the narrator talking to the reader. It's not like the plot itself is reader-insert but like you and the narrator are watching the story and the narrator is talking to you?? Does that make sense? I'm doing something like that in a future HP fic.

18. multiple point of views or just one point of view

Omnipotent third person narrator that knows everything but limits themselves occasionally when they focus on a character. Technically one third pov ig.

19. multiple protagonists or just one protagonist

     Multiple babey.

20. favorite villain you've ever written

I haven't written much for it, but I think I'm really gonna like the villain in Long Live. It's also like the only OC villain so it has to be them anyways. Well, they're not really OC now that I think about it, but kinda sorta lmao

21. longest piece (word count) you've ever written

36k?? The Art of Destroying the World. I started it my freshman year and have yet to finish it.

22. where do you get your inspiration from

Fuck if I know. It just appears babey.

23. how to deal with writer's block

     Suffer.

24. writing one book at a time, or multiple at a time

Realistically, I can only really be publishing/writing one at a time but I occasionally jump between my drafts when I'm inspired.

25. planning out the book before writing, or just writing it on the go

Writing as you go. Then when you do the rewrite have things planned based on the original.

26. picking chapter titles before writing or after

     Usually before, seldom after

27. picking character names before writing or after

Again, usually before, but they may change. *cough* Marina *cough* That bitch as had like 20 thousand different names lmao.

28. simple or complex plot lines

I don't know. I'm not a good enough writer to have complex plot lines yet so simple I suppose. But I also don't think I would really know the difference when reading or writing.

29. multiple different characters or just a few

     Multiple babey

30. sad or happy endings

I like reading happy endings, but sad endings are so fun to write

31. rhymed poetry or free verse

I'm not the biggest poetry bitch. But I think I like reading rhymed poetry better. But free verse just hits different some times.

32. epilogues or prologues

That's fucking tough, actually. What the hell. I don't know. Epilogues? Maybe. Idk.
