A pair of familiar hands snuck around Eileens waist, as she was standing on the small balcony, looking out at the starry night. The safe feeling of home, brought a huge smile on her lips, as Andrew gently pressed a kiss against her neck, followed by a soft whisper, "Happy birthday, babe". Eileen let out a light chuckle. She still hadn't gotten used to hearing Andrew call her 'babe' and actually mean it. And now the simple thing would make her stomach explode. "It's been the best ever" she leaned against his body, placing her hands on his. They stood like that for a long while, just taking in the silence of the night, and each other. It was in moments like these, the both of them felt at peace with the world, knowning that their love could burn down empires, but I didn't have to.
