Chapter 28: Martyrdom

Wearing an expensive Versace yellow cocktail dress, a Chanel matching bracelet and earrings, a Gucci black T-bar pump, Prada Saffiano leather mini bag, paring my look with a Dior sunglasses, I stride across the mall.

I didn't even manage to cover my face anymore.

I'm going somewhere and it's the restaurant inside this mall.

I looked around and notices people gasping, murmuring and even taking a video of me.

That's good.

I smirked and stepped inside the elevator. I saw the staff getting nervous. I smiled sweetly at her. "Can you please press the 7th floor? I'm in a hurry."

Agad naman itong tumango at nakita ko pang lumunok ito ng ilang beses. Ngumisi na lamang ako at nilagay sa harapan ang titig.

I'm here because I have to deal with my problems. But if course, I needed Apollo to secure my safety.

This is just a stepping stone for the real plan.

I managed to mask a fierce yet sweet facade. I need to looked at least scary but still charming.

Bumukas ang elevator sa 3rd floor at pumasok ang dalawang magkasintahan. Ngunit, napatigil sila na ako'y kanilang mapansin.

I lifted my left hand without my handbag and waved cutely at them. "Hello." I curved my lips upward, even loosing me eyes as I smiled at them.

Cute but scary. That's what all I need to accomplish our aim.

Umatras sila at natatarantang lumabas ng elevator.

Inosente akong tumitig sa papalayo nilang pigyura, tumingkayad pa ako upang masilip sila sa pasaradong pintuan ng elevator.

Tahimik ang babae sa gilid ko at pinindot muli ang pangpitong floor.

Lumapit ako ng kaunti at kinalabit siya. "Y-yes Ma'am Vasco?" She stuttered.

"Am I scary today?" Taka kong tanong. Inayos ko pa ang aking damit at inalis ang sunglasses na suot.

"N-no ma'am. Th-they- no. W-we were just astonished with y-your beauty Ma'am." She answered.

Sinilip ko siya at maikling ngumisi. "I hope you're telling the truth. Actions are louder than words after all."

I saw her gulped for a few times, making me smile.

Yes! Gumagana!

Pagkadating namin sa 7th floor, agad akong lumabas.

Sinuot kong muli ang aking sunglasses at pinakatitigan ang mga taong dumadaan at sa harap ko saka magbulong-bulongan. May iba ngang matanda akong nakikita na susugurin sana ako, mabuti na lamang at napigilan sila ng kanilang mga kasama.

Ngumiti ako at pinasadahan ang lahat ng tingin. Umiwas ang iba ng mukha at halos lahat ay agad na nagiba ng direksyon.

Mas lalong lumawak ang aking ngiti at inayos ang handbag na dala.

I started walking and all the people started giving me space. Some are left hanging their mouth, some have weird expression and some do not care.

I like them better though. They don't care, that's kind of good.

I roamed the left hallway and when I found what I was looking for, I immediately march towards the restaurant.

We agreed to meet in this restaurant named 'Fala's Menu'. Quite a good resto name huh?
