I stared at my phone screen with an even deeper pout this time. I have been checking it for a while now; almost two hours ever since I sent my messages, and there were no replies back from Kit. Did he seriously not see them? Is he busy? I don't think he has any sudden exams or anything, right? I would have heard.
"I'm sad." I voiced out, pressing a fist under my cheek as I continued ogling at my lifeless phone.
"What's happening? He didn't reply yet?" My best friend, who was sitting next to me, eating a pack of crisps, grabbed my phone right out of my hand, "Mm- what's your password?"
"Give me that." I groaned, snatching my phone back, "I'm stressed and sad."
"Don't be, man." Wayu munched on his potato crisps, "He might be busy. You know, Medical students tend to study a lot- or I guess he does."
"I know he studies a lot but... he didn't even bother to send a reply back to me?"
"Maybe he's ignoring you."
"Why would he ignore me?!" I stated dramatically.
"Uh, I don't know? You're annoying?"
"You're not helping, Wayu."
"I'm serious."
I gave my best friend a little punch, having enough of his blabbering, before I looked over to the other side, pouting. It's literally been two hours ever since I messaged him... is it possible he wouldn't have seen it? No way. I know Kit would be distracted by his studies the whole time, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't check his phone, would he?
"Is he really ignoring me, do you think?" I leaned back in my chair, staring right at space.
"I mean... I wouldn't doubt it." Wayu chuckled, "He can be serious about somebody if he hates them, at least, that's what I heard."
"But he doesn't hate me." I think.
"Mm... then how about you drop a visit?"
"To his facility?"
"Yeah? You never know, maybe his phone died or something and that's the only reason he's not replying back to you."
"Hey." I unfolded my crossed arms, "Now that seems like a great idea. Why haven't I thought of it before?"
