// I am back a few days early. My mum has had a good funeral yesterday. Speaking about that...it looks like Addison is about to get a huge surprise of her entire life.

Addison's POV

A few minutes later, there was a small but loud knock on the door. "The Queen has sent me up to do your hair, could you please let me in?" I heard a kind female voice ask through it, which made me get up from the edge of the bed and headed over to the door. Once I had opened it, I realised that it was the woman that was with Vanessa. Who actually was she?

"Oh. My apologises. The name is Alexandra, but you can call me Alex because I prefer that to my full name." she introduced herself. She then walked into the room and began to get everything ready. I didn't really know what to do at this point. I can't remember the last time I had a haircut. But it will be for my own good. I closed the door so nobody could disturb us while we do this memorable activity. Was it really memorable though?

"Sit down for me, please." I got instructed by her. I turned around and walked towards the chair from the reading desk, before I slowly sat down on it and immediately felt the fresh blue towel being wrapped around me. Her fingers then touched my rough hair, feeling the horrible knots. "How does it feel?" she asked me in quite a nervous tone. "What do you mean? Me being mates with..." I hesitated at saying her name. The woman that should not be named for what she did. She caused the war to happen in the first place.

I felt some snipping from the back of my head, my eyes slightly widening at the sound. It was giving me flashbacks to where my mother used to cut it for me. She was great. "I guess it feels good...to have someone by your side. But sometimes it doesn't." I told her.

"I had a lover. I think so anyway...I keep having these dreams about him."  she then began to tell me which made me wonder. No, Addison. Don't even dare think about your mother. She died trying to protect her children along with her husband during the war!

"Do you know what happened to him?" I asked her as she was still cutting my hair slowly, making sure that it was even on both sides.

"No. But I do remember having some children with him too." What?

"Who were your children?" I asked her, my eyes looking up to see her face. She didn't look like my mother...maybe my mind was just fucking with me. But, she did have my hair color and very similar dark blue eyes which completely matched with my mother's.

"I can't exactly remember their names but I do know their genders. Two lovely strong girls."

My eyes then widened some more as she said that. My mother used to call us strong, and look at us now. Natasha was one of them and had a girlfriend, and I was just a human. A fighter and a survivor.

"Right. It looks like I am all done. What do you think?" Alex asked me, raising her hand up to tell me to stand up which I do without hesitation. I walked over to the bathroom mirror and just smiled at it. I looked like a younger version of myself. I had short hair again, exposing some of my neck too which I didn't really like as now Vanessa can have more access.

I then turned my head to look at Alex, who was smiling too. "What was your mother's name?" she then asked me. Was she reading my mind this whole time as well?

"Alexandra Connors."

I watched her widen her eyes as she then froze on the spot after hearing my reply.

"Don't tell me that you are my mother...please..." I then started to beg her, slowly making my way towards her. Then, she reacted by taking a few steps backwards. "How old are you in human years?" I asked her.

"Forty One."

Just about I was going to ask her a couple of more questions, Vanessa had to ruin the moment.
