Healer, he is able to heal minor wounds on others and himself.  

Personality: 
Hikaru is soft, quiet and incredibly awkward. He often never says the right thing and fumbles with his words falling all over himself in a social situation, there are times when he just refuses to talk because he finds it easier than trying to get across what he's thinking, and it doesn't help that he has a slight speech impediment.  Hikaru's thoughts tend to bounce around and often lead off into strange and unknown places that had nothing to do with the original conversation, a talent as his mother called it but an annoyance his father stated. It isn't really his fault he simply has a lot of trouble focusing, and if one word is mentioned that reminds him of something else he will quickly switch to that thing rather than what was originally going on. Although he may be incredibly socially awkward and often a bumbling idiot Hikaru is by no means an innocent or naive little cinnamon bun, Hikaru has been known to be rather promiscuous, much like his thought pattern he tends to jump from one person to the other finding it a lot easier to talk with his body than his words he has never had much trouble finding 'dates'. It turns out what you say or how you say doesn't have a lot to do with getting people to sleep with you! 

Hikaru has never been that great at making friends, although he has had many friends with benefits over the years. Yet there has never been a single person he has had a deep connection with, due to his trouble with communication people tend to get either frustrated or simply fed up with him which means a lot of the people he sleeps with never stick around that long for pillow talk. He tries not to show it but Hikaru is incredibly lonely and self-conscious, on the outside, he may attempt at playing cheerful and odd but on the inside, he has been trying to fill a black hole that has been there for as long as he can remember. Due to his crippling loneliness, Hikaru is often willing to give anyone a chance and tries to never judge a book by its cover.

Thoughts on the war: 
Never being that great at politics he isn't really sure why the war is going, he wants it to end and hates the thought of a lot of people dying because of it. 

Thoughts on the selection: 
It's odd, but if it ends the war then maybe it's a good idea? Besides he gets to meet new people which is nice. 

Brief History:
Hikaru had a very simple two-parent household,  his father worked while his mother stayed home and looked after the home. When Hikaru was born everyone was excited since they had a boy to carry on the family name, that was until his 'issues' started showing. It wasn't really until he was four and he still wasn't talking that people noticed something was off with the child, he was quick to throw tantrums and couldn't get along with other children. Having a son like this upset his father and the man became distant, often leaving the home for days at a time while his mother became incredibly protective pushing the rest of the world away from her 'odd' son to keep him safe. 

Because of this, he was kept away from other children which only further burdened his social development, leaving Hikaru even more awkward and 'odd' as he grew older. Hikaru developed a rebellious streak, to both get the attention of his father and to annoy his mother. He started leaving the house alone at ten and wandering off to play with animals or even find other children (which didn't always end well) He was bullied heavily due to the way he spoke and acted, which had him staying away from children altogether. When he turned twelve however he discovered something good about himself, he had resorted to simply watching the other kids play and during one time a child around his age fell and split open their knee. Without thinking, Hikaru rushed over and healed the kid, something he didn't even know he could do. This opened up new doors to him and although he still didn't know how to make friends he managed to get people interested enough in him to keep him around.
