I use these characters for rps and I tend to add more detail to them depending on how much I've used them. Help me develop my babies if you like :3 I sometimes write short stories about them.

Val is quite unlike others in his family, he's quiet reserved and often likes to stay away from fighting. You can often find him sighing at whatever it is his siblings seem to be up to at the time. He's smaller than his brother and smaller than his father was at his age something he tries to play off by standing up straight or on stairs. His small figure is due to him finding any excuse he can to avoid going out and training, when he was young he would often hide in the stables and read or write poetry. Val has always been a lover of the arts and for that, he admired the other kingdom, there was a time in his life where he was jealous for his brother being able to marry the princess of that fine kingdom although he is mostly over that now.
He has never really gotten along with his family, though he loves his mother he has never found anything in common with them. He has a rather bitter and sarcastic humour to him, he fights with his wits instead of his strength (which has lead to him getting beaten up on more than one occasion) and he likes to pick fights with his brother through insults.
Val spent of a lot of time with servants when he was young, and he has a strong respect for the working class. His best friend for a long time was a stable boy, one whom he had gotten a little too close with at one point. His parents ended up finding out and the boy was given a large sum of money to leave, something Val could never forgive them or him for. Since then Val as avoided 'feelings' when it comes to his relationships, he has had many affairs but none that lead to affection. Val has always been one to speak out for the mistreatment of others, and because of this passion he was given the nickname 'snowflake' something to degrade him, although he ended up taking the name in stride, he pretends as nothing get's to him but really he's all kinds of upset on the inside. He uses humour to hide his pain and will never let anyone see him cry.

Val has no skills with fighting, but he is a rather good poet and horse rider
The selection seems dumb to him, just another excuse for his family to control his life. But he hasn't opposed to it yet.
Val is completely in love with any kingdom that isn't his own and would willingly run away to one if he could.
