Personality:
Hwan- Jay has a rather sweet and bubbly demeanour, often putting off a naivety in his actions and speech which was one of the things (Along with his age) which pushed him into the cute makenea role of his group, a role he hasn't been allowed to grow out of as he has gotten older. He can be very enthusiastic about things and is naturally attached to the cuter side of things as much as it bothers him. Hwan-Jay has a very awkward personality, he trips up on his words and steps being voted most likely to fall on his face while walking in a straight line, yet when it comes to dancing all the awkwardness seems to melt away and he has more control over his body than he ever had in his life.
Hwan is somewhat moody these days, a lot of things irritate him and he has been known to snap at the other members for treating him like a child, which in turn has brought on some talk between the company, suspensions have been mentioned if he can't get his attitude under control. Of course, though he has never had an outburst in public and is actually quite popular with the fans, although he will never hold the spotlight as well as his younger sister. Hwan-Jay doesn't hold the same stage presence as her, and honestly, the speed in which she has grown in the idol world bothers him. You could say Hwan-Jay is jealous of his sister, of how easily she accepts her role and how she has been able to grow into the perfect idol in his opinion while he has been in a steady decline losing his IT factor.
Hwan-Jay just wants to grow up and been seen as a serious idol.
History:
Hwan-Jay is the third youngest in a family of five, he has always gotten good grades and is rather smart although he turned quickly away from books when he discovered his passion for dancing and singing, it was never the applause or joy others. He simply has always loved dancing. When his younger sister got into it he was overjoyed to share something with her, she was always looking up to him after all.
But after a while, he noticed the attention she commanded at home was also something she commanded everywhere she went. She was quickly the best dancer at the studio and he was pushed into the background. After a while, he grew to hate his sister, hate everything she was. Before she was old enough he took it upon himself to audition for an idol group without the help from his family and he was accepted due to his raw talent but of course not long after she joined one too.
Even so he loved his group and embraced his role up until he started to see it as insulting for his maturity.
