Rory's Pov:

I was trudging up the walkway to my house.

Luckily nobody was up.

Lorelai had already gone to bed, or I assumed.

I took a quick shower, and fell down on my bed, exhausted.

Today had been the longest day, and tommorrow was going to be even worse.

No Tristian and bullies, down every hallway.

My life was in turmoil, the only relief I have is that, I have kept my grades up through all of this.

Point one for Rory, so at least I have that.

I fall into sleep, but I don't dream well.

I dread the sun coming up, and I have to go to school.

But I suck it up, I'm a fighter.

Gilmore's don't quit.

I put on my Chilton uniform, and fake a smile.

I can do this, at least that's what I tell myself.

I walk to the bus stop, and pull out my book.

It's Jane Eyre.

But soon Chilton comes into view, and I sigh to myself.

I immediately walk to my locker, and a couple guys sneer at me, but surprisingly no Paris.

I didn't question my good luck, and went into Mr. Medina's class.

Tristian comes up to me, already looking apologetic.

"We should talk," Tristian says slowly.

"Yeah we should," I mumble.

Tristian says we should meet at our place after school, and I hesitantly agree.

I was scared, not going to lie.

So I completely missed everything Mr. Medina was saying.

Oh well I would get the notes later.

I walked to my next class, and Paris's seat next to me was empty.

It didn't make sense.

Maybe I could ask Tristian later.
