Rory's Pov:

I can't believe tomorrow was my first day at Chilton.

I didn't know if Lorelai or I was more excited, to go.

We were eating junk, and watching one of our favorite shows.

"You'll be at a different school tomorrow," Lorelai says, ruffling my hair.

"I know I'll be a private school girl," I mumble, throwing popcorn at her.

Lorelai throws some back, and we start laughing.

It's getting pretty late, and I had to be up pretty early.

So I tell Lorelai, I'm going to bed.

And she goes up to her room.

I instantly fall asleep, and wake up when the sunlight hits my window.

It's five thirty, which is good, because I can't be late, on my first day.

I pack my backpack, and put on my Chilton uniform.

It fit, like I was always meant to wear it.

I smile, and go downstairs, and wait for Lorelai.

She wouldn't wake up for awhile.

I was the punctual one in the family.

Someone has to be right?

But it's almost seven, and she still hasn't woken up.

I sigh, and decide to go wake her up.

I walk upstairs, and open the windows.

"Rise and shine," I say cheerily.

Lorelai groans, and buries herself under the blankets.

"Mom wake up its seven!," I yell panicking.

"No it isn't Rory," Lorelai argues.

I pick up the alarm clock on her bedside table, and show her the proof.

"No no," Lorelai mumbles.

"I'll be downstairs," I mumble, rolling my eyes sassily.

Lorelai nods, and quickly throws an outfit on.

I wait downstairs, and start laughing when Lorelai comes down.

"Joining the rodeo?," I ask smirking.

"Let's go," Lorelai says, making a face at me.

It takes us awhile to get to Chilton, from Stars Hollow.

When we get to Chilton, we stare at it.

"It looks so huge," I mumble, staring right up at it.

"Yeah let's go," Lorelai says, grabbing a coat, to cover up her outfit.

"We have to meet Headmaster Charleston," I remind Lorelai.

We walk in the direction of his office, and meet the receptionist at the front desk.

"We're here to meet Headmaster Charleston," Lorelai says smiling.

I take in the office, and feel my stomach doing nervous flips.

We walk into the office, and to both Lorelais and surprise Emily Gilmore is sitting there.

If someone would have told me Luke Danes would be cartwheeling naked, while riding a tricycle, I couldn't have been more surprised.

"What are you doing here?," Lorelai asks in surprise.

"I'm just here to wish Rory luck on her first day," Emily smiles, and I'm sure she had an ulterior motive.

But I kept my mouth shut, I would for sure throw up, if I opened it.

"Lorelai why don't you take you're coat off," Headmaster Charleston suggests.

"I'm okay thank you," Lorelai says, but Emily sends a glare in her direction, and Lorelai slowly takes off her coat.

Emily had never looked more mortified, in her life.

I stared down at the floor in embarrassment, and hoped nothing else could go wrong in the day.

I was wrong, this day could only get worse.
