Rory's Pov:

I wasn't sure where we were going.

Tristian wouldn't tell me.

"It's a surprise," Tristian says smiling.

I hated surprises, and I thought Tristian knew that.

But I started getting excited, when Tristian pulled up to a bookstore, about twenty minutes, from Stars Hollow.

"I thought you would like this." "I come here sometimes," Tristian explains nervously.

"I love it," I say honestly, and skip ahead of him.

Tristian laughs at my enthusiasm, and follows me into the bookstore.

There were so many books piled everywhere, and I didn't know where to start.

Everything from Poetry to Romance novels.

"Pick anything you want," Tristian whispers in my ear.

"Thanks," I whisper back, and kiss him gently on the cheek.

After awhile, I come walking back over to Tristian, struggling to carry all of them.

"Tristian this is too much." "Let me help pay," I insist, pulling out my wallet.

"Not a chance," Tristian insists, pulling out his credit card, and handing it to the cashier.

We walk back to the car, and my stomach growls loudly.

I start blushing, but Tristian didn't seem to notice.

"Someone's hungry," Tristian teases.

Then Tristian pulls up to a beach, and I'm glad I brought a jacket.

Tristian pulls out a blanket and basket out of the trunk, and takes my hand.

"This is perfect," I say in awe of the view, and of Tristian.

"Glad you like it," Tristian smiles, setting down the blanket and picnic basket.

I sit next to Tristian and he brings out cheese crackers, and some fruit.

"You totally planned this." "That's so cute," I tease.

"Maybe I did," Tristian says smiling, and once again holds my hand.

I lean on Tristian, this was just perfect.

Well perfect for a first date.

I can't believe I was on a date with Tristian Dugray.

I must be crazy, at least a little bit.

Well call me Britney and have me committed I guess.

I wouldn't have believed it, when I first started at Chilton either.

I guess I learned to not judge a book, by it's cover.

Tristian is so much more, than what he seems.

"Rory what are you thinking?," Tristian asks seriously.

"About how lucky I am to be here with you," I say honestly, blushing.

Tristian smiles, and pushes a piece of hair away from my face.

I smile at him.

Tristian smiles back at me, and leans in to kiss me.

This kiss was different, full of passion.

He must really like me.

I realized I really like him alot too.

After the kiss was over, we just sit and watch the stars.

It's almost ten, when we decide to head back to Stars Hollow.

Lorelai said to be back by ten, and she was kind of strict, about that kind of thing.

Especially since Tristian was my first, real boyfriend.

Tristian pulled up to my house, at exactly nine fifty.

I didn't want to leave, tonight had been amazing.

"Let me walk you up," Tristian says.

What a gentleman.

"Okay," I whisper.

We stop at the door, and Tristian is about to kiss me again.

But Lorelai opens the door, and interrupts us.

"Time to say goodbye," Lorelai says strictly.

"Bye Tristian," I say smiling.

"Bye Rory." "Mrs. Gilmore," Tristian says smiling, and waves.

Then gets into his car, and leaves.

I walk to my room, and slam the door.

I can't stop smiling.

Best first date ever.
