Rory's Pov:

Tristian just smiled and smiled the whole day.

It almost made up for, him dragging me to that horrible movie.

Tristian and I didn't do much that day, but it made it worthwhile.

He kissed me again, as he was dropping me off.

I didn't kiss back, as eagerly as before.

"What's wrong?," Tristian asks confused.

"I don't want Lorelai to find us," I say quietly, feeling foolish.

"Your still worried about Lorelai?," Tristian asks.

"A little." "You better go," I say, pecking him on the cheek, to smooth things over.

Tristian shakes his head, and gets into his car.

I walk into the house, and Lorelai is sitting on the couch.

"Was that Tristian?," Lorelai asks smiling.

"Yeah he just left," I mumble.

"We should invite him to our movie night tonight," Lorelai suggests excitedly.

"No thanks," I say shyly, and go to my room.

I watch out my window, and just as Tristian is pulling out, Lorelai runs up to the car.

I can tell she is, inviting Tristian to hang with us.

I'm so pissed she always, has to do the opposite of what I ask.

"So Tristian is going to be joining us," Lorelai says slowly.

"What the hell did you do!?," I ask, while shouting.

"What's the problem?," Lorelai asks, rolling her eyes.

"Tristian is going to think I'm such a loser," I grumble, getting upset.

"Fine I'll tell him we are going to cancel," Lorelai grumbles back.

"Don't do that," I say, grabbing the phone from her.

"Okay be ready at seven," Lorelai shouts, as I run into my room.

I can't decide on an outfit, why was this so hard.

Oh because this is going to be the first time, Tristian will see me out of my Chilton uniform.

"Did your closet explode?," Lorelai asks snickering.

"Not helping." "I have nothing to wear," I moan.

"Go with the hoodie and jeans." "Says I can be casual but sexy," Lorelai says thoughtfully.

"Perfect thanks," I smile.

"No problem," Lorelai says, ruffling my hair.

Just in time too, because I hear Tristian's car pull up the driveway, soon after.

One last glance in the mirror.

"I can do this," I say, giving myself a pep talk.

Tristian is out in the kitchen, talking to Lorelai.

I walk out, like I wasn't just listening.

Tristian had brought a choice of candies, and I just smile to myself.

Lorelai looked impressed.

"I'll go order the pizza," Lorelai announces.

Tristian and I make our way to the living room.

"Your mom is quite a character," Tristian comments.

"That Lorelai is," I say giggling.

"Pizza is ordered," Lorelai announces.

She scares the crap out of both of us.

I jump, and when Tristian isn't looking, give her a dirty look.

We sit around for awhile, and wait for pizza.

The pizza comes, and it seems like forever.

"Well dig in," Lorelai commands.

Tristian and I stare at each other, and then we each grab a slice.

The pizza is so delicious, all the toppings, and the gooey cheesy goodness.

"Time for the movie," Lorelai says excitedly.

I take a deep breath, and sigh to myself.

Well here goes nothing.
