Rory's Pov:

I walk into Luke's and I see Lorelai giving me a look.

A look that says we'll talk about this later.

You can feel the tension between us, and we don't say a word.

Luke doesn't come to our table once, he doesn't want to get in the middle of it.

I have to go to the counter, just to get coffee.

Luke knows better than to ask questions, and just pours the coffee.

I sip it slowly, taking in the whole afternoon.

Tristian looked so handsome.

As always, but even more today.

As I was daydreaming, Lorelai was putting money on the table, and leaving.

I followed quickly behind her, and didn't say a word the whole way home.

As soon as we get in the door Lorelai starts on me.

"Rory what in the hell are you thinking?," Lorelai asks angrily.

"I wasn't I just wanted to see Tristian," I grumble.

Lorelai was making a such big deal out of nothing.

"Rory you can't be doing this anymore." "I forbid you from seeing Tristian anymore," Lorelai shouts, running upstairs.

Instead of running into my room, like I usually do, I grab my coat, and run to the park.

I was crying tears streaming down my coat, and I angrily wiped them away.

Lorelai couldn't do this, I would still see him at school.

Tristian was perfect in every way, she couldn't just break us up like this.

I would still date him anyways.

I just wouldn't let her know we were, still going out.

With a plan in motion, I smiled to myself, and watched the sun set.

When it got dark, I walked back home.

I just didn't speak to Lorelai.

I went to my room, and studied.

At nine pm I shut off my light, and went to bed.

The next morning I put on my Chilton uniform, and walked to the bus stop.

I read the book on the way, and when I got to Chilton looked everywhere for Tristian.

No luck.

I grabbed my books, and went to Mr. Medina's class.

Tristian was already there, and he looked very panicked.

"Tristian what's wrong?," I ask nervously, looking at his terrified face.

Tristian just shakes his head, and takes his seat.

I didn't push it anymore, and class started.

I kept looking back at Tristian, but he kept looking away.

Class ends, and then I have class next with Paris.

She smirks at me, and I roll my eyes.

I distract myself from Tristian by making a plan to humiliate Paris.

Then an idea blinked in my head.

I pretended like I was paying attention to the teacher, but I was writing a note with my left hand.

I would destroy Paris.

Dear Paris,

I really like you.

I would like to date you.

Please respond back to this note, and wait for me after school by the benches.

Signed, Adam Person.

Brilliant.

I had overheard Paris one time, saying she had a crush on him.

I was being so mean, but oh well.

I tucked the note in my binder, and waited for school to be over.

I found Tristian at the end of the day, sitting at one of the benches.

"Please tell me what's bothering you," I plead.

"My parents want to meet you," Tristian blurts out.

I just stared at him.

That sounds like trouble.
