Harry's POV:

I rapped my knuckles against the oak door. As I waited for an answer, I turned to Draco and smiled. He gave a small smile back and I furrowed my brows a bit.

The door opened and I was met with a man roughly the same height as me. His messy brown hair was covered by a beanie, with the fringe poking upwards. He was of aristocratic features, with a slightly pointed and chiselled jaw. He had pale skin and blue eyes.

"Are you Emmery Ricci?" I inquired with a thought. "Who wants to know?" Emmery leaned against the doorframe and crossed his arms. "I'm Harry Potter. I was told that I could find you here." His eyes lit up with recognition and he straightened from the doorframe.

"Of course, Harry potter! Emmery Ricci at your service. What can I do for you?" Emmery was jovial in tone and I could sense Draco hiding behind me slightly.

"Emmery, meet my fiancé, Draco. I promised a friend that I would find you. And here you are." I explained as Draco gripped my hand tighter.

"It's nice to meet you." Draco quietly spoke. I narrowed my eyes slightly as the two shook hands.

Draco gets nightmares from the war. And I thinks he's still a little bit angry at me for not telling him that I wasn't going to die. In thought of it all, I rubbed slowing circles on Draco's other hand that I was holding. That's probably also why he was snappish this afternoon.

"Right. And who would that friend be?" Emmery questioned again and I smiled at him. "Does Malovent ring a bell?" Similarly as I thought, he froze in his movements and turned a little paler. His eyes darted to the floor and then back to me.

"Please come in."

When Emmery turned around, I pulled Draco in for a kiss. It was filled with remorse and regret. A sorry kiss that could only explain how I felt through the connection of lovers lips. "I love you, don't forget it."

Draco sighed as he pulled away and grabbed onto the back of my shirt as I followed Emmery through the house. It was decorated with greens, greys and blacks. Hm, Malovent did say he was in Slytherin. It was all very interesting. It felt homely and calming though.

Emmery stopped in the kitchen and hunched against the counter. "I never thought I'd hear that name again." His voice was rough and full of unshed emotion. "This is all so sudden." He dropped his head into his hands and his shoulders shook for a few seconds.

I stood there feeling slightly awkward, as Draco still clung onto my shirt. I moved an arm behind me and pulled him to one of the chairs at the counter, pulling it out for him to sit. "Just sit down here for a minute, Dray." Quiet and graceful, Draco sat in the chair and clasped his hands together daintily.

I moved away from him and around the counter to where Emmery was hunched over. "Emmery?" I questioned, not sure if I should be doing this or not. "Would you like to talk about it over some tea?" I placed a hand on his shoulder and could feel the silent sobs shudders racking his body.

Everything was quiet for a few seconds before Emmery let out a long sigh. He dropped his hands and stood up straighter, towering over me by a few inches. Which made me wonder how tall Malovent was. "That would be lovely, Harry." He reached a hand up to straighten his beanie and scratch the back oh his neck. "I'll fix it."

That's fine by me. "How do you like your tea? And what about you, Draco?" Emmery moved about in the kitchen, pulling out three mugs and switching on the kettle. I moved back to Draco and took a seat beside him, grabbing his hand in mine and making circles.

Draco instead pulled his hand away from mine and climbed from his chair to my lap, making himself comfortable and tucking his head into my neck. "I'll have milk and two sugars, and Draco will have milk with half a sugar." I rubbed my hands up and down Draco's back, trying to comfort him.
