Harry's POV:

Weekends.

They were something I enjoyed immensely.

The feeling of being able to sleep in as long as I wanted, and being a lazy git all day. And I can't forget all those time where I've woken up in the morning only to discover Draco cloning to my body. That was something I definitely enjoyed.

And then wandering down to the kitchen for a late breakfast with Draco was something I pleasured. But, just because we're back at school, does not mean I can slack off on training. In fact, it's something I need to pick up on more.

With the war only a short time away. It could happen at any moment. And it's not something I'm prepared for. As in - mentally: no, physically: yes. I wasn't ready to have people I know be taken away from me. Slipping out of my grasp.

Even though I knew I couldn't save them all, and that some people would die, it still affected me.

"Come on, little dragon." I tugged in Draco's hand, pulling him next to me as we walked. We were on our way from the kitchen, and, as of right now, I had to talk to McGonagall. So, I was dropping Draco off at Snape's while I did so. After all, it is important matters that I need to discuss with her. Again.

"I'm coming already." Draco ambled along behind me, clutching my hands as his other one rubbed his belly studiously. "That was a good breakfast. But, I have to admit, you make far better food. In fact, you'd make a better breakfast for me." I didn't catch what he meant until after a few seconds, where I stopped in the hallway and yanked Draco backwards.

Blood pumped through my cheeks as I stood rooted to my spot. I narrowed my eyes at him credulously. "You bad little boy." I threw a wink at him and then stalked forward, Draco still clinging to my hand.

Didn't know you had it in you, Harry. Really, that was quite a sentence you out together there. Bravo! I must admit. You're quite the genius, bad boy.

Hush up Malovent. You're smart, why didn't you catch it and warn me? And I'm a genius? Hah, I thought so too.

I laughed. In my mind, of course. Draco scoffed and began stalking. "I'm a bad little boy. Yes I'm bad, but not little. I'll show you how bad I can be." And with that, he pushed me against he wall and locked me against it.

His face came closer and his warm breath spread upon my lips. My heart skipped a beat and thudded in my chest drastically. I didn't have time for this right now, but then again... "You know I love you, right?" Draco mumbled against my lips and I didn't have time to get a response out before he crushed them with his own.

Slowly and versatile, our lips moved in a reign of passion. A fiery burning deep in the pit of my heart. But as much as I wanted to do this, I had to get to McGonagall. I gently pushed Draco off me and laced both of his hands with mine, holding them against my chest. "Honey, I need to get you to Snape so I can talk to McGonagall. Real soon."

Draco let out an irritated sigh and I watched his plump lips form around it. His mop of blonde hair was covering his eyes and I let go of one hand to brush it away. "Can't I come too? I wanna stay with you. Please?" He whined and sank to the floor, wrapping his body around my legs.

"As much as I would love too, I can't take you with me. There is something I need to... Discuss, with McGonagall in a private meeting. But then, I promise I'll come find you. As soon as I'm finished. Ok, little dragon?" I really did hate leaving him and Hermione always called us attached at the hip. That we wouldn't go anywhere without the other. And, in a way, I guess that was sort of true.

I pryed Draco from my legs and bent down, scooping him in a hug as he whimpered. There were no other students milling about in the halls. For all were either sleeping in, having breakfast or out on the Quidditch pitch.

"Ok..." Draco didn't question any further, simply standing up and stalking down the hallway without further notice. Hurriedly, I stood up jogged after him. When I did catch up to him, I yanked him by the back of his shirt and spun him into my chest. I don't exactly understand why Draco is so upset with me leaving for a few hours, but I'm assuming its because of his father and needs much comfort in the form of me.

Sadly, I just had to talk to McGonagall. I held Draco tight and rubbed small circles in the dimples of his spine. He relaxed into my hold and I placed a kiss on his neck. "I promise I'll only be two hours at the most. And if not, you can come find me. Please stay with Snape till I'm back, ok?" Draco mumbled against my shoulder and I took it for a yes.

Alright, we better get moving if I want to catch McGonagall before she starts on something else. Then I had an idea. I pulled Draco away from my chest rested my hands on his arms. Looking into his silver eyes, they stared back at me. "Get on my back." This should be fun. Plenty of fun.

"What?" Draco looked utterly cute and I resisted the urge to kiss him in the nose. "Get on my back." I stated as plain as daylight. I turned around and bent my knees a bit, angling my back so Draco could jump on. He grabbed my shoulders and I felt extra weight on my back. He was definitely quite light. And no trouble at all for me to carry.

Securing Draco in place, I wrapped my arms around his thighs and straightened up. His arms hung around my neck and his head rested on my shoulder. I massaged the back of his thighs with my fingers as I walked towards Snape's office.

I rather enjoyed carrying Draco this way and made a note to do it more often. It was fun. He giggled quite often and I loved the beautiful sound of it.

I turned a few corners and found myself and Draco at Snape's office door. Draco slid off my back and into my arms. "Come on, I'll see you soon. Promise. Love you." With that, I pressed a kiss to Draco's lips and swaggered off towards McGonagall's office.

When I got there, the staircase was open, as she was expecting me. I trudged up the steps, slipped through the door and sunk into a seat. "Hello, professor." McGonagall looked up from the paperwork on her desk and made a small tutting noise.

"I didn't hear you come in, Harry. You're so quiet. And by all means, please, take a seat." She gestured to the chair I was already sat in with a smirk. Quaint woman.

"Thank you, professor. Good morning, but the way." I let her shuffle around her paperwork and file it on her desk as I waited to talk. I looked around the room and noticed a thick layer of dust on most of the objects. Almost as if they hadn't been touched since Dumbledore- oh...

"Good morning, Harry. How are you this fine day? And how is Draco faring?" I turned to face mechanism at the sound of her voice. She was one of my favourite teachers and I enjoyed her classes. She was also a very good mentor and head of house.

"Ah yes, I'm quite good. And Draco is excellent. Speaking of Draco, thank you for those potions last night. They were quite useful as Draco got a little upset and couldn't sleep. So I have to thank you. But, I want to ask how you knew he might need them?" McGonagall's bun was pulled tight and there were only a few loose little curls that framed her petite face.

Her eyes twinkled. "Let's call it a hunch, shall we?" I nodded to that and rested back in my chair, singing along the way. "As of last night and early this morning, I have some more important matters to discuss with you. But let's try and keep this meeting under two hours. I gotta pick Draco up then." I found myself frowning at the last few sentences, thinking of Draco.

I wonder his he's faring, holed up with Snape for a while.

"Oh yes. Alright, let talk."

Sorry I haven't updated this week, except for twice so far. But I'm so tired and I need sleep and I feel bloody awful. I had vaccinations today at school and now the muscle in my arm feels like it could drop off at any second. It's so painful.

Anyway, McGonagall and Harry will continue speaking through the next chapter. Please enjoy, as I'm tired as shit right now and it's the best I could do.

It's my birthday tomorrow, so I'm going to update and YALL BETTER BE FUCKING NICE TO ME.

Don't be a fucking ghostie!
