Hermione's POV:

"Oh, Ron!" I moaned, arching my back from the position I'd been sitting in for a long time. I reached across the table to smack him on the back of the head. "Prat!" He rubbed the back of his head and smirked. "Besides, Harry wouldn't sleep with Draco at a time like this. He would've only gone to actual sleep." I glared at his red hair.

"Yeh, but you don't know that." Oh Merlin, Ron. What are you playing at? "Actually, I think I do. Harry is responsible. And didn't you see how tired he was last night? How desperate he was to just find Draco and bring him home?" I brushed hair from my face and forked my bacon and eggs.

"Speaking of that, I noticed Harry didn't even come in last night. Why do ya s'pose that is?" Ron teased me with taunting eyes and I felt like stabbing him with the fork. "I figured he had found Draco and couldn't be bothered bringing him back." I watched as Ron's hand crept towards my bacon and I silently raised my fork threateningly.

The door knob made a sudden noise and I turned my head as the door slowly opened. Harry stepped in with his back to us and I smiled. "Hi Harry." As he stepped, inside the room, he closed the door. My smile faltered. "Harry, mate. Where's Draco?" Ron's question broke through the silence and I was thankful that he too was handling this.

Slowly, Harry turned around and I gasped. His eyes were puffy and red. Tears streaked down his face and soft sobs racked his body. Oh my. Did something happen to Draco? I crept out of my chair at the same time Ron rushed out of his. Geez Ron, don't scare him. "Harry?" I asked tentatively once I got to him.

Ron was already standing by his side and I reached up to brush away the tears gently. Hm, there were more than I thought. The only thought that I could speculate was that something had happened to Draco. I looked over at Ron to see him with a comforting hand on Harry's back. It's good to know Ron was there for Harry no matter what.

I wrapped my arms around Harry tightly and held him in a comforting hug. My hands rubbed up and down his back and I could feel Ron's hand on my waist. I'm actually really glad Ron was here. I would hate to have to deal with this if it was just me and Harry. Just then, a sob racked through Harry's body and into mine.

He leaned into my neck and I patted his back softly. "Harry." I didn't get an answer. Instead, I breathed in deeply to calm myself down. Except, when I breathed in I smelt something on Harry that wasn't Harry. I dug my nose into his neck and sniffed again. Upon further inspection, I smelt Draco on Harry's neck. Like, vanilla and spice... Alright then.

"Harry." I tried again and this time, I got a reaction. I could still feel Ron's supportive hand on my waist and I proudly smiled. "Yeah?" Harry took a small step back and I looked him over. He was not in a good state. Christ, what did Draco put him through? I did not want to have to take Harry back to Hogwarts like this. It would be a disaster.

"Harry, why don't you take a seat and explain what happened. Yeah?" I was determined to get something out of him. And if I didn't, I would go find Draco myself and beat him senseless. Slowly but surely, Harry made his way to the couch. Before he sat down, I unbuttoned his overcoat and threw it on the back of the chair.

Ron sat on the opposite chair as did I. And together we waited for Harry to tell us what had happened last night.

Harry's POV: (Sorry for switching in the middle on ya)

I sighed deeply, mentally preparing myself. This can't be good. In fact, this won't be good. At all. Both Ron and Hermione looked at me with expectant eyes and I heeded away from them to gaze around the room. My eyes flickered to the small roaring fire that held so much life. One simple scoop and that fire would be dead. Similar to us. One small thing and we could be dead.
