Sean and Taylour In the Picture*
"Detrick I would honestly recommend praying about the situation and where to go from here."

"That's just it, I prayed and then all of this happened!"

"Well what exactly did you pray? Like what were you asking?"

"I felt like something was being withheld from me so I prayed that it would come to the light."

"Okay. Whoop there it is! You prayed for this!"

"I didn't pray for this."

"You prayed for whatever was in the dark to come into the light and it did. I'm sure when you prayed to God you had no intention of leaving her once he answered your prayer."

"No I didn't."

"Okay, so then you have a choice to accept what was shown to you and move on with or without her. To me it sounds like it needed to be shown so that you guys could put it all out there and move forward together."

"How so?"

"When I found out my husband was cheating, I didn't know beforehand but there was, like you a feeling I had that something wasn't right. Something was being hidden from me. I prayed and literally the same night I found out he was having an affair. It crushed me in ways I hadn't known he could. However after all the hell that was for the both of us, I see now that it had to happen that way because there were things inside of me that needed to be worked on and forgiven. Things and hurt from my past that I had no idea were affecting the way I interacted with my husband. No please don't get it twisted, I'm not taking the blame for his infidelity, but I am saying that relationships of any kind are a two way street and every decision made affects more than the two parties involved. Have you asked yourself how her daughter is taking your separation?" Detrick looked down at his hands remorseful that he hadn't fully considered Delaney's feelings in this situation to even reach out to her only.

"No."

"Kids are always affected by our decisions. Even when they don't say it or show it, it affects them if not now then later. I'm not saying her daughter is the reason to give the relationship another try because you can keep a relationship with her daughter and not her. I am saying that if you truly love this woman as much as you've said and as much as your eyes are showing, then it's time to forgive and move forward. I highly doubt she wanted to hurt you intentionally. "

"Whether it was intentional or not it still hurts like hell."

"That may be so, but when you fall it's the same thing. It hurts when you fall whether you threw yourself down on purpose or fell over your shoelace. The difference is either way you still get back up and keep walking." Detrick looked at Taylour with clear understanding. "Detrick it's time to get back up and walk towards the woman who seems to be the love of your life."

"I hear you Taylour but I'm still gonna need some time to get over this shit."

"I understand 100%. It took me a year to get through it with my husband so I get it. Just don't wait forever and miss out on your blessing. Don't be too stubborn either because God has a way of pushing you when you're not ready to move."

"I know that for fact." Detrick agreed. Taylour looked at her cellphone to see the time and started grabbing her purse.

"Well Detrick it was great catching up with you but I gotta head out."

"Already?"

"Yea it's time to meet my Sean for lunch."

"Dang I was just gonna start telling you about my Daddy issues Hahaha. "
