Shawn's POV
I strummed on my guitar, lightly humming some random lyrics. I leaned back, resting against the headboard of my bed.
"It sounds beautiful, shawn." I heard her elegant voice. I smiled slightly, thinking of my (Y/N).
"Not as beautiful as you."
"You've always been a flirt." She whispered, letting out a small laugh after.
"Only for you, baby." I mumbled, a smile breaking my face.
"I love you (Y/N)." I spoke, resting my guitar on my lap.
"I love you more, Shawny." I smiled, remembering the nickname she had for me.
A loud knock coming from my door echoed around my room, before I mumbled a quiet 'come in'.
Cameron my roommate walked in, smiling weakly at me. "Hey shawn, who are you talking to?"
"(Y/N)." I whispered, closing my eyes whilst smiling. I heard him sigh, taking a seat on my bed.
"Shawn, she died over a ye-" I cut him off short, not wanting to hear the same conversation we had every day.
"No she didn't. She's right here." I responded, she has always been here.
She never left me, I still talk to her everyday.
Cameron sighed again, standing up and walking out of my room.
Cameron's POV
It pained me to see shawn like this. He was so in love with (Y/N), but one night a stupid drunken driver had crashed into her car, killing her instantly.
But that lucky son of a bitch survived, and went to jail. When Shawn found out he was heart broken. He completely lost it.
A few months later, we found out he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. He said he could hear her voice and speak to her. Sometimes he claims to be able to see her.
It hurt me to hear him 'talk' to her outside from his door, just knowing that it's in his head.
I was I could help him, but I can't. He is so mentally broken, he was no longer the happy teenager I grew up with, now replaced with a depressed and heart broken boy. I lost my best friend.
