Amazing moment

Heyy!!! I'm so sorry i haven't updated, I have been super busy :( I've noticed that most of my imagines recently have been sad, so here is a happy one for you lovely people :)

"Hey Shawn, come and watch this." I shouted, calling my best friend over. Right now I was sitting on the couch, watching a funny video of a man being chased by a goat and falling into a bin in the process.

I heard his footsteps potter along the corridor and into the living room, him soon entering and taking a seat next to me. "What is it?"

"Just watch it and find out." I said pressing play on the video.

As soon as it ended, I was in fits of laughter, Shawn soon joining me. My stomach began to hurt from laughing too hard and I started to hiccup.

I was soon to notice that Shawn's laughter had died down, so I looked over to him in confusion to why he stopped laughing. He was looking directly at me, with a look on his face that made my heart beat quicken.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I laughed, smiling slightly.

"Because your so beautiful (Y/N). Everything about you is beautiful, your laugh, your smile, your eyes." He whispered, his eyes scanning over my face in awe.

I blushed but was quick to try and cover it. "Shawn. Are you okay? Do you have a fever?" I asked concerned, placing my hand against his forehead.

He squatted my hand away, before replying. "No, I'm being serious. I could stare at your beauty all day and never get bored."

My cheeks were turning redder at his comments. "Where is this all coming from?"

"Trust me, I have been meaning to say this for a while now, but I've never had the guts to. So, I'm gonna man up and say it." He paused and took a deep breath, before carrying on.
"I, the Shawn Mendes, am completely in love with you. Now I understand if you don't feel the same, but I had to say something. It's been killing me."

I sat there in shock, unable to speak. He liked me back. I wanted to reply but I couldn't trust myself, I would end up saying something stupid that I would regret later.

So I did the only thing I could do, the thing I've been wanting to do since the day I met him. I kissed him.

He finally reacted after a few seconds, putting his hands behind my neck to deepen the kiss. This moment felt so amazing, his lips were so soft and kissable, just how I imagined them to be.

We pulled away, not before he gave me one last peck. I smiled, feeling lots of different emotions about this whole situation.

He bit his lip and cupped my cheek, gently stroking his thumb along my cheekbone. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this."

I giggled, leaning in to peck his nose, which made him smile.

"(Y/N), will you be my girlfriend? I-it's okay if not, I understand if you don't like me back. It's just that your so pretty and there is so many better looking guys out there-" he rambled but I cut him off by giving his a soft peck on the lips.

"Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend." I smiled.

A big grin erupted his face, as he pulled my into a bone crushing hug.

"But you might not have a girlfriend for much longer if you don't allow her to breath." I added, gasping for air.

"Shit- sorry. I just got a bit exited." He chuckled, loosening his grip around me.

"Mhm, I can tell." I laughed.

At this moment I felt so happy, and I needed to thank my friend Cassidy who had tagged me in the video, otherwise I may not have had the most amazing moment of my life.
