Hey! I can't believe it's nearly Christmas! That's crazy!! But anyway, I hope you like this!😄

I laid down on my bed, smiling at the scent of fresh covers. It was also a Saturday, which meant I could stay in bed longer, and I had no school.

I slowly closed my eyes, feeling my eyelids getting heavier until a loud tap was heard from my window.

I groaned knowing my peace wouldn't last long, and sat up in my bed. Shawn, my neighbour, was sitting on the tree right in between our windows, knocking on my window.

I rolled my eyes and forced myself out of bed to go to the window. He has such bad timing, I was just getting comfortable.

I opened up my window, wide enough for him to come into my room. "Shawn, what the hell are you doing here at 11:30?!" I whisper yelled, slightly moody from being disturbed.

"I couldn't sleep." He shrugged in response, and wondered over to my bed. He grabbed at the neck of his shirt, pulling the grey fabric off his body in one swift motion.

If this would've happened a few months ago, I would drooled all over my floor, but now I'm used to it. He has came over endless amounts of times in the middle of the night, claiming he couldn't sleep.

But I knew why he was here, he wanted to cuddle. I don't even know how this whole thing started, it just happened once and it's happened regularly ever since.

Why does he take his shirt off, you ask? Because he told me he doesn't like sleeping with a shirt on. But I think it's just an excuse to cover the fact he wants me to see his toned, muscular body.

But I didn't complain, I actually enjoyed the view.

"Why now? Can't you just go to someone else." I groaned, keeping my window open.

"Please let me stay, I like to cuddle with you." He spoke, with a pleading look in his eyes. By now he was already laying in my bed, wrapped in my covers.

I huffed in defeat and closed the window shut. I knew I wouldn't win with him, he's too stubborn.

"Come here." He smiled gloriously, out stretching his arms for me to join him. I obeyed and walked over to the bed, his arms immediately wrapping around my waist to secure me in his arms.

I wrapped myself up in the covers, and rested my head on Shawn's chest. If any random person was to walk in on us now, they would like we were a couple; which we weren't.

I've never kissed Shawn, nor am I planning on doing. We have two very different lives. I like to keep to myself and avoid any drama, whilst Shawn is the complete opposite.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you." He mumbled against my hair.

"It's fine, I'm used to it, since my neighbour loves to ruin my life by not letting me sleep. But it's whatever." I said playfully.

His deep chuckle vibrated against my chest and a shiver went down my spine. As much as I hate to admit it, he has an effect on me.

Whenever he smiles, I get butterflies. Whenever he laughs, I blush. Whenever he takes a glance at me, my heart practically skips a beat.

I sighed softly at the sound of his heart beat, and I drew random patterns onto his abdomen with my fingertips.

"Goodnight, Shawn." I said sleepily, my eyelids beginning to feel heavy once again.

"Goodnight, my soon to be princess." He whispered, rubbing his thumb gently against my cheek.

Did I hear him right? Soon to be princess? What does that mean? So many questions flew into my head, but I brushed it off, I must've misheard him. I felt a kiss being placed at the top of my head and sooner or later sleep took over me.
