"Hey baby." Shawn giggled, picking me up by my waist.

"Hey." I smiled and pecked his lips. But no, that wasn't enough for Shawn as he put a hand at the back of my neck and connected our lips in another kiss.

I pulled away and looked at his face, he had his eyes closed and a smile playing on his lips. He was too cute. I began to play with his hair, since he enjoyed it when I played with it.

"How about we go to Starbucks?" He whispered, eyes still closed. He bit his lip and turned his head at an angle so I could massage his scalp better.

"Mhm, sounds great." I smiled and pecked his cheek. I pulled my hand away from his hair once he placed me back down on the floor.

His phone suddenly began to vibrate, signalling someone had texted him.

Shawn groaned and pulled out his phone from his hoodie pocket, sliding his screen to open the message.

His face suddenly dropped, and he let out a loud gulp. "Shawn, what's wrong?"

He snapped out of his thoughts and looked up to me. "N-nothing's wrong."

I sighed, knowing that there was something he was not telling me. I can tell whenever he lies, as he always touches the back of his neck with his hand, which is what he was doing now.

"Please don't lie to me." I whispered, knowing there was something he was not telling me.

He let out a huff, before turning the screen
around to me. It was a message from an unrecognisable number.

Unknown: I thought I told you, if you didn't pay me in time, your in big trouble... we know where you are, and there nowhere for you to hide.

I looked back up at Shawn in confusion and his facial expression showed he didn't seem shocked by this message.

"Huh? What does that mean?" I mumbled re-reading the text.

"I don't know. They must've had the wrong number." He replied, clearing his throat and putting his phone back in his pocket.

I could tell he was lying again, but I just shrugged it off as it didn't seem to be a big deal. They just got the wrong number, right?

At Starbucks ...

I gave Shawn my order and he went up to the small counter, since there was no cue. Thank god. I hate waiting.

I began to play the words in my head of what I had planned out to say to him. He doesn't know I'm pregnant yet, and I'm going to tell him today.

I felt so nervous. What if he would want me to get rid of it? What if he would leave me?

"Here you go, babe." Shawn put my drink out on the table in front of me, stopping my thoughts.

"Thank you." I smiled, taking the warm, pumpkin spice latte drink in my cold hands. "Shawn. I need to tell you something..."

He looked up at me. "Okay, what's up?"

"Uh, you know what happened the other day... what we did?" I said awkwardly.

He chuckled at me since I hadn't said exactly what we did. "Yeah."

"Well, I decided to take a p-" I was interrupted by the doors swinging open and a gun shot echoed around the café, and the sound of glass shattering.
