I smiled to myself as blankets were placed down on the field of grass where me and my boyfriend Shawn were laying down, his muscular arm placed under my head.
I snuggled up to his chest, looking up at the stars. "It's so beautiful," I mumbled not taking my eyes off the shimmering night sky.
"It really is," he replied looking down at me because of our height difference. I blushed at his content gaze and buried my head deeper into his chest, causing him to chuckle.
He gently lifted my chin up with his fingers, making me look directly in his eyes. His hand caressed my cheek, stroking it slightly with his thumb.
I leaned forward and placed my small lips onto his soft ones. We had been dating for almost three years and he still managed to give me the same feeling of butterflies whenever we kissed.
After a few seconds, we pulled away and he rested his forehead on mine. "I love you so much," I whispered.
"I love you so much more," he smiled, turning his head to look back at the stars.
I felt so happy, I was with the most amazing person in my life.
