I nervously waited for my boyfriend Shawn to return home. He had been coming home from the studio drunk everyday for the past 2 weeks.

I snuggled my knees up to my chest and started to watch the new episode of teen wolf when the front door slammed shut. Which meant Shawn's home.

"(Y/n), I'm homeeee," Shawn slurred making his way into the living room. His eyes were red raw from the amount of alcohol that he had consumed. He stumbled to the couch sitting next to me, causing me to shuffle away as far as possible.

I hated seeing him drunk. It made me upset and angry. Shawn knew how much I hated people who wasted there life's drinking, especially by the fact that he knew about my abusive alcoholic parents.

"Really Shawn? Your pissed again! This is stupid! Everyday you have came home from work your always drunk. I'm sick and tired of this," I shouted standing up, biting my lip to attempt to stop the tears spilling from my eyes.

"God dammit, Just chill. Stop acting like my mom. I can take care of myself. If you hate it so much then why don't you just leave." He snapped back. I jumped back slightly at his sudden outburst.

"Okay. If that's what you want, fine. I'll leave." I replied confidently stomping out the room and upstairs.

I started packing up all of my belongings into my pink suitcase, until I was interrupted by someone knocking on the bedroom door.

I snapped my head in the direction of the door for my face to be met with Shawn's. He looked like he had sobered up a bit. His eyes were still slightly bloodshot and he had red tear stained cheeks. He had been crying.

"Y-you're not actually leaving me, are you?" Shawn chocked, his voice filled with hope. I cleared my throat, my eyes scanning every inch the room to avoid his gaze.

"Well, that's what you want. Isn't it?" I wiped under my eyes and continued to throw my stuff into the suitcase.

"Of course not. God I'm so stupid." He sobbed, his back sliding down the wall. I hated seeing him cry. I sighed, making my way over to him and sitting beside him.

"Shawn, you're not stupid. I shouldn't of reacted The way I did. It just upset me to see you like that, especially when my parents were the same." I spoke softly, looking at the floor.

"I'm so sorry. I promise it will never happen again, it's just been so stressful at the studio. Please forgive me." He pleaded tilting my chin up with his finger tips.

"I forgive you," I whispered. A smile broke his face, gently placing his plump lips on mine.
