Chapter 42: Truth Hidden in Lies - Part 2

Arion was helping Sarala, in the Magister town, believing from everyone she was completely innocent of a crime she was accused of. Urged on by Oswald to prove her innocence he turned to Sarala and stepped to her "Alright Sarala I'm going to help you the best I can. I'm going to ask you three questions okay? The first question...you're not going to like but it's needed"

"Oh okay" she nodded

"Right Question one. Did you steal anything from Oswald Cobblelont?" the mere questioned irked Oswald

"What the?" he said clearly annoyed "Did I not just ask that?"

"I need to hear the answer for reference. So Sarala can you answer me?"

"No...I haven't-"

"What is point of this!?"

Arion began to find his patience being tested as he turned to Oswald "I have just, literally, asked this" he barked out

"This is question one of three" said Arion "All will be made clear. Alright Sarala take two. Now again did you..."

"Enough of this farce!" Arion had to take deep breath "Why are you doing this?"

"All. Will. Be. Made. Clear" Arion said closely on the verge of losing his temper "Now let me finished...otherwise I'll be forced to apologize"

"Huh...what?" Selva could sense something was going to happen

"Everyone...keep your peepers tuned. We're about to have a little entertainment"

Arion turned back round to Sarala "Right let's try this a third time. Sarala can you answer my quest-" once more he was cut off by Oswald

"This has gone on Long Enough!" Ellen could see Arion tightly clenching his hand, his brands all glowing

"This is going to be good" she said with an expectant grin

"I've already established she's a thief so why are we..." in a flash of reaction Arion spun round, shot an energy blast, struck Oswald's face knocking to the ground. Arion panted as he calmed down before saying

"Sorry. For shutting you up! Jeez!"

All were quite shocked by Arion's reaction, especially Oswald who quickly picked himself up showing his mark faced and cracked monocle "What the heck was that!?"

"A Non-elemental energy attack" said Magna "One which young Arion can utilize"

"I won't ask how a Norma can do that but how dare you strike me in the face!"

"Why...it's an improvement" said Arion smugly "And I did say sorry for doing it. That counts for something" unbeknown to him little fits of laughter came from the audience, particularly Ellen and Selva

"Oh I'm loving today" said Selva "If he goes any redder he'll burst"

"I can...almost see the steam from his head" said Ellen giggling herself.

"I'm so going to tell my family and kind about this" said Cyla snickering herself in a pur like laugh "they'll be laughing for hours"

Arion took a calming down breath "Sorry about that Magna, I lost my composure for a minute then"

"Don't blame you Arion" said Magna "Continue please" Arion went to Sarala

"Sorry about that Sarala...let's try this again take three. Now same question Sarala. Did you steal from Oswald Cobblelont?"

"No...I didn't steal anything from Mister Cobblelont" she said earnestly. Arion turned to the crowd
