Seulgi's POV

While Jimin was driving, I couldn't help but be bothered by the small wound he has on his left arm, and actually, it doesn't look like an accidental wound to me. It looked like it either got punctured by a needle or he got bitten by an insect. Did something happen to him? I worriedly thought to myself.

"Jimin, is your arm ok?", I asked him as his car stopped when the traffic light turned red.
"What? Yeah, it's fine.", he said as I couldn't help but sense lies in his statement.
"Are you sure? Because it kinda looked like—", I tried to explain but he immediately cut me off.
"Seulgi, like what I said, it's fine, so don't worry about it! It'll heal in no time!", he said with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

He's definitely hiding something from me, and I need to find out about it immediately! I thought to myself as I just stared at the window with full of doubts while he continued driving the moment the traffic light turned green. The moment we finally arrived at the hospital, I immediately went straight inside my mom's hospital room to pay her a visit.

"Hi mom!", I said as I hugged her.
"Hi darling!", she said.
"Mom.. I just want to ask you a question..", I said.
"What is it?", she asked me.
"Who is your blood donor? Can you tell me who he/she is?", I asked.

The moment I asked her that question, I couldn't help but notice how her eyes nervously diverted away from my gaze. Why is she nervous about it? Is it someone I know? I suspiciously thought to myself.

"Darling.. I'll just tell you the identity of my blood donor when I'm ready.", she said.
"What? Why? Is it someone I know?", I said.
"Yes! It's someone you know and you might react differently when I tell you who it was!", she said.
"Mom.. please..", I said.
"I'll just tell you tomorrow! You're about to be late for work!", she told me.
"Fine! You better promise me that you'll tell me tomorrow.", I told her.
"I will!", she said.
"Just send me a message if there's an update about your health status.", I told her.
"I will, darling!", she said.
"I'll see you later, mom!", I said as I left her room.

Who is her blood donor? I suspiciously thought to myself as I just straight inside my clinic to proceed with work.

Jimin's POV

The moment we arrived at the hospital, Seulgi immediately walked away to pay her mom a visit while I immediately went straight to my department to proceed with work.

"Hi Jimin hyung!", Seulgi's cousin said as I unexpectedly encountered him in the reception area.
"Hi Hyunggu!", I said.
"How's auntie doing?", he asked me.
"She's doing great!", I told him.
"I heard that someone donated blood to her. Bless that person! Whoever he/she is, I want to meet them and thank them for donating blood.", he said.
"Umm... Hyunggu, I have to tell you something but please don't tell your Seulgi noona about this for a while..", I told him.
"Uhh.. sure! What is it, hyung?", he asked me.
"I.. I hope you won't get mad at me but.. I was actually the one who donated blood to your aunt..", I nervously said.
"Wait.. so you are her blood donor?", he said in a shocked tone.
"Hyunggu.. someone from my family did something horrible to your uncle, and up until now, I still couldn't accept the fact that the woman whom I've continuously hurt was also my childhood friend whom I've been looking for ever since I came back from Busan. Knowing how badly I wanted our families to be ok once again, we can't just start over again without doing something right for each other. I wanted to do something right for your family, and donating blood to your aunt was the only thing I could think of. It's also my way of apologizing to your family because of how I badly treated your cousin...", I said.
