Seulgi's POV

"Darling, I won't be going home with you tonight, 'cause I have a scheduled surgery at 7pm.", my mom told me as she kept on driving so we could arrive at the hospital.
"It's fine mom! I understand, knowing that it's your job as a Surgeon!", I said.
"Thanks for your understanding, darling!", she said.

The moment we arrived at the hospital together, we immediately went into our separated ways. The moment I arrived at the 3rd floor on where the clinics are located, I immediately kept on walking so I could go to my clinic already and work.

"Hey Seul!", Joohyun unnie said.
"Hi!", I said.
"I heard that auntie will be gone for 2 months because of her trip to Busan with her other colleagues from this hospital.", she said.
"I know! And she won't be going home with me tonight, because she has a scheduled surgery.", I said.
"I see! I hope auntie won't forget to take care of herself, knowing that life as a Surgeon is really tiring.", she said.
"I know! And don't worry, because I'm always here to remind her not to forget to take care of herself.", I said.
"That's great! By the way, I have to go now and proceed with my rounds!", she said.
"Alright! I'll see you later at lunch!", I told her as she walked away.

When I arrived at my clinic, I immediately wore my white coat and my stethoscope around my neck to start working.

"Seungyeon unnie, we're now ready to admit patients!", I said.
"Sure! I'll start now!", she said.

I immediately went inside my office and sat as I waited for patients to come for their consultation and their annual check-up.

Jimin's POV

I was in the reception area, signing for attendance in the doctor's logbook, when my uncle, who is working as an Anesthesiologist, suddenly approached me.

"Jimin?", he said as I turned around.
"Uncle, hi!", I said.
"Are you ok?", he asked me.
"Yes! Why?", I asked him.
"I've been hearing some gossiping from other doctors about you and Dr. Kang, fighting and arguing because of what happened to your father..", he said.
"Sorry uncle.. it won't happen again! Whenever I see her, I couldn't help but get reminded about the man that killed my dad!", I said.
"I understand, Jimin! I know that you and your mom are still in the grieving process but.. please don't throw all of your anger out on her! And besides.. the police are doing everything they can to investigate!", he said.
"I know, uncle! I know I despise her a lot but.. the way her dad suddenly died is really mysterious and tricky to solve! Doctors said that he died due to cardiac arrest but according to the autopsy report, they didn't find any signs or even evidences of cardiac arrest. It looked like he got murdered, because the moment when a doctor and nurse entered the room to check on him, they found him dead.", I said.

The moment I said that, I couldn't help but notice how my uncle looked nervous yet enraged about what I just said. That's strange! Why does he looked like he's scared because his secret is slowly unfolding?! I thought to myself as I couldn't help but eye him suspiciously.

"Uncle, are you ok?", I asked him in a confused tone.
"Huh? Uhh.. yeah! I'm just mad because until now, the real culprit is still not found! And who knows, maybe he's still freely roaming around, acting like he didn't commit a crime?!", he said.
"Uncle, calm down! Besides, the police are doing everything they can to investigate and to update us when they found new evidence.", I said.
"I know, Jimin!", he said.
"Uncle, aren't you going to work now?", I asked him.
"What about you?", he asked me.
"Yeah! I only have 20 minutes before my work in the clinic starts.", I said.
"Alright! You may go now! I don't want to keep you waiting, because I also need to assist some of my patients today for their surgical procedure.", he said.
"I'll see you when I see you, uncle.", I said as I walked away.
