Wounds will Heal
Haiku by Kelseye Claire V. Dorado
Walking by the shore,
beneath my feet's scorching sand,
greeted by cold sea.
From the author:
The haiku can be interpreted as portraying the challenges an individual faces in life. The line "Walking by the shore" symbolizes the journey through life, striving to grow and improve. However, the hardships along this path are reflected in the imagery of "beneath my feet's scorching sand," illustrating how we often endure pain and difficulties in our personal development.
There are moments when our wounds are exacerbated by individuals who seek to bring us down, pushing us to the brink of giving up. Nevertheless, it is crucial to recognize that these adversities are not perpetual. With unwavering self-belief and perseverance, those wounds can heal over time, ultimately imparting valuable lessons in life.
