Luna Called Me
Figurative Poem by Dianne Trixie Alberto

Warmth mistles,

Wind whistled,

Embraced in darkness.

Mist is whom that held,

Night whispered: be my guess.

Cycle shan't be quelled,

It is eternal unrest.

From the author:

This poem offers a glimpse into my current emotions and captures what I believe many of us are experiencing at this moment. Employing the super blood moon phenomenon from last night as an allegory, I depict the conflicting elements within it to symbolize the prevailing uncertainty. The blood moon, in turn, serves as a reflection of the potential for renewal within the cyclic nature of beginnings.
