Moon, Sun and Star

Figurative poem by Rickson D. Espiritu

Moon in the night who gives me hope

Who is in there that believe in holding rope

When I in pain the moon will shine

Like car in a road who keep in line

Sun who keeps fighting in life

Giving He's light on its son and wife

The bravest one among all the stars

Who give me power to ignite the sparks

Love you two for what you've done

I will remember everything and it will never gone

Stepping my feet for our dreams to come

A star that keep moving to take you home

From the author:

This poetry used personification. The first 4 stanzas represent or I'm talking about my mother who's always there to support me on everything not just me but all of us who are in home. The moon is my mother who give light for a hard situation who never surrender on believing on me

When I get tired she keeps cheering me up. Like a car that never break rules in a road that once she speak she keep me boost The Sun is my father. The second 4 sets stanzas is talking about my father who is the hardworking that gives light for our living, the most fearless just for us to survive, that's why I keep studying and never give up on my dreams.

The star is me. Who promised that will always continue, to return and give a better life for them in the future. The 3rd sets of stanzas are talking about my vision and mission.
