Opening the penthouse using my key card, I went swiftly inside then locked it immediately. I went to look something to my fridge and decided to just have some sparkling water..

I walked hastely to my bedroom to grab some comfortable pajamas then I went straight to the bathroom so I can take bath.. It took me 15 minutes to finish including my daily facial routines..

I made my way back to the kitchen and look from my food storage cabinet.. I guess I'll be eating instant ramen for tonight, it's not like there's something new with it.

My parents died when I was young and I never ate any food that is not cooked by my mom.. I think I was 4 years old when I had my last home cooked meal from her. I don't know how to cook and I did not bother learning since I can easily buy instant foods from the supermarket.

Instant ramyeon, wrapped gimbap, processed jajangmyeon, frozen dumplings, or meals from fast food restaurants.. Those are my usual meals growing up. I'm used to the taste of chemical ingredients from those and I could never complain since no one had ever cooked for me, it's not like I would want them to cook for me either.. Being alone is what I wanted so I gotta stick to it..

I started boiling water for the noodles with the egg then I chopped some leaks and spring onions so I can put it in my ramyeon.. At least I have something in it that is not processed..

After some time, I cooked my meal perfectly and then I sat to my table where only one chair is available.. All my things here in the apartment are for one person only since I live here alone. My sofa, my dining area, my bed and even the utensils like plates and glasses.. I don't like too much things because I'm a minimalist person... I'm alone here so it makes sense why I only have things for one person.. It's not like someone will live here with me, I will never allow that.

I smelled my ramyeon and I smiled a little knowing that I cooked it well.. I grab my chopsticks and spoon to be ready and just when I was about to take a sip, someone pushed the doorbell interrupting me with my supper..
