Santana pov: I slept in my car last night after I stormed out the house. I went for a drive to cool off and when I got back it was late and I didn't want to wake Raven up. I was heated and I yelled at Raven. I felt so bad because she didn't deserve that. She was just tryna help. I grabbed us some breakfast and then drove back to her house. I got out the car and rung the doorbell. I hope she answers.
(Raven opens the door and walks away)
Santana: good morning (shutting the door behind him)
Raven: morning
Santana: uh uh we not doing this( grabs her hand and pulls her closer to him) I'm sorry for last night I shouldn't have yelled at you. I was so mad last night and had so much running through my head. I'm so sorry.
Raven:( looking up at him) I don't like when you get angry Tana. I know you're going through a lot but you gotta let me help you through it bestie. You're hurting and now you and your sister beefing. It's a lot but you need to sit down with her and your mother and talk. Express how you feel to them.
Santana: I can't go alone I know how my anger gets.
Raven: you ain't gotta go alone (wrapping her arms around his neck) you got me
Santana:Man I really love you bestfriend , you always know how to calm me down.
Raven: smiles) I love you too
A week later:
Jp pov: I just touched down in Houston and was finna take a Lyft to Santana's house. We been best friends since we was babies damn near. That's my brother forever. I know he probably gone be pissed because I got his mama and sister to come wit me. Man I hope this shit don't back fire on me.
Raven: you need to learn how to decorate(laughs) this orange does not match this brown couch cover
Santana:(laughs) then you decorate it
Raven: gimme the bands and I'll go shopping right now (smirks) might buy a new purse or two while I'm there
Santana:(smirks)what you else you tryna buy?
Raven: that's all I need , you keep your money
Santana: nah I wanna spoil you a little bit
Raven: smiles) i appreciate that but I'm good for right now
Santana: alright
( somebody rings his doorbell)
Santana: opens it ) wassup my boy !!!
Jp:(smiles and hugs him) wassup !
Santana: come on in, how was the flight ?
Jp:it was decent, but I got a surprise
Santana: frowns) what type of surprise ?
S/m: hi son
Santana: Jp come on man(sighs) you should've told me you was bringing them
Jp: I didn't tell you cause I knew you wasn't gone want them here
Santana: come in I guess
( they all walk in )
Raven: coming from the room) Tana I'm bout to head to the grocery store
Santana: Ray I need you to stay right now
Raven: notices his guest) oh hello
Santana: this is Jp my bestfriend , my mama and my sister Serenity. This is Raven my bestfriend
Raven: hi nice to meet y'all
S/m: hi sweetie
Jp: hey
Serenity: hi
(They all go sit at the table)
Jp: I think they need to handle this alone.
Serenity: same thing I said
Raven: you comfortable wit that Tana?
Santana:(sighs) don't go too far please
Raven: we'll be on the balcony
( they go on the balcony leaving Santana and his mom alone)
S/m: how've you been son?
Santana: I've been real good, moved outta Detroit and I'm making something of myself. Got an amazing bestfriend that's helping me get my life together.
S/m: that's really good, I'm proud of you
Santana:(nods) thanks, how you been?
S/m: I've alright, just tired. Working too much. It's been 9 years wow. You've grown so much
Santana:yeah , I was 15 when I last saw you
S/m: santana I love you and I've always wanted the best for you. As the years went on I saw that you were getting your life together and i felt you hated me so I left you alone. But I've always been so proud of you baby.
Santana: mama I needed you and you weren't there. I graduated high school community college and got my masters and you weren't at my graduations
S/m: I was there but I watched from the shadows.
Santana: ma I turned to the streets to survive. I wanted to come home. You forgot about me but you praised serenity for getting off drugs and going to law school. What was wrong with me ?
S/m: nothing baby, I just I don't know I felt that you were better off without me at that point
Santana: wiping his tears ) I miss you mama I really do
S/m: I miss you too baby ( walking over and hugging him) I'm so sorry for everything that happened between us and I want us to start fixing our relationship
Santana: me too
S/m:(wipes his tears ) stop crying baby you did nothing wrong. I don't hate you or anything alright
Santana: nods) yes ma'am
Santana pov: I'm glad me and my mama got a chance to talk. It's gone take a while for us to establish a close relationship like before but I'm willing to try it.
Raven:(comes back in ) everything okay ?
Santana: smiles) yeah, come here
Raven: good(walking over to him)
Santana: wraps his arm around her waist) mama she's been making me so happy these last 6 months. She keeps me level headed and everything
S/m: smiles) you guys are cute, she smiles every time she's near you
Raven:(blushing) he's such a sweetheart (looks at Santana) now can I go to the grocery store ?I wanna make sure you get some food in here.
Santana: don't worry about it, we'll go later
Raven: okay
S/m: Tanny you need to talk to your sister
Santana: I ain't got nothing to say to her mama
S/m: she told me what y'all said on the phone. Y'all both were out of line
Santana: I ain't talking to her
S/m: yes you are, Jp is about to take me to our hotel and she's staying here so y'all can talk ( kisses his forehead) I love you and I'll see you later
