Raven:( kissing on santana ) you gone miss me?
Santana: licks his lips) mhm, wish I could go wit y'all tho
Raven: I know, but I got Bryan, Gigi and Kingston to help. Can't believe it's finally here. He's off to college
Santana: you've done an amazing job raising him
Raven: you've helped me so much though. I appreciate it baby
Santana; you know I got ya back
Raven: serenity said she was gone spend the night and help out til we get back

Raven: checks the time) well we gotta get on the road( kisses him) I love you and don't be tryna do a lot you know you still recovering

Raven pov: we made sure we had everything and then got in the car. We were driving to California and it was gone take about a day. Y'all I can feel the tears now I'm gonna bawl like a baby.
Move in day:
Jamel pov: well today is the day. We just pulled up to the school and parked. I got out and went to get in line to get my room assignment and student ID. Once I finished that we drove around to my dorm building and parked in that parking lot and then we all got out the car.
Jamel:well y'all we made it(smiles)
Gianna: the little girls checking you out already (laughs)
Kia:( laughs) better tell them I fight
Jamel:( laughs) you ain't gotta do that bae I'm not entertaining them
Raven pov : I was looking at the buildings and everything was pretty much the same from when Jamal went here. I remember the day we drove him here for move in day and I cried so bad.
Raven: what building you in Mel?
Jamel: sproul hall room 104
Raven: ok let's go y'all
Jamel pov: we started taking my stuff out the car and into the building. Tt and Kia wiped everything down with disinfectant spray and stuff and my sister Paris and Gigi started making my bed for me. It only took us about a hour and half to get everything inside. Once we was done we took pictures and stuff. Tt wasn't herself though. She looked real sad. I knew they were about to leave so maybe that was bothering her.
Bryan: well good luck lil bro and have fun(daps him)
Jamel: thanks man
Kingston: good luck Mel . Let us know when the football season starts
Jamel: I will, I get the game schedule next week
Gianna: have fun honey (hugs him)
Jamel: I will hopefully (smiles)
(Gianna, Bryan and Kingston leave out)
Jamel: Paris don't you start crying (pulling her into a hug)
Paris: I'm gonna miss you, you always picked me up from school (tears fall)
Jamel: I'm going to miss you too, but I'll try to visit as much as I can and we can FaceTime everyday I promise(kisses her forehead) I love you

Kia: y'all gone make me cry( fanning her eyes)
Jamel:( laughs) come on gimme some love
Kia:( walks over and hugs him) I love you and I hope you have an amazing semester baby
Jamel:( smiles) I love you too and you have an amazing semester too (kisses her) you better call me
Kia: you know I will (smiling)
Jamel:( looks over at Raven) y'all give us some time alright
Kia: alright, aunt Raven we will be in the car
Raven: alright
(Kia and Paris walk out)
Raven: this was the same room your dad was in( sighs) looks renovated a little bit.
Jamel: I was wondering why you seemed so sad. I felt a connect to this room soon we walked in.(pulling her into a hug) I'm gonna be fine tt. I know I'm far away but I'm gonna have fun and this will be a good experience.
Raven:( tearing up ) I know baby and I'm so proud of you. I'm excited to see how well you do
Jamel: patting her tears away) imma miss you so much tt, you gotta come to my games
Raven:( smiles) I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'm gonna miss you to and I want you to stay on the correct path. You better keep us proud
Jamel:( smiles) you know I will I promise
Raven: well baby we gone go, good luck. I love you so much and don't hesitate to call if you need anything or just wanna talk
Jamel:( tearing up ) man I didn't think I would start crying

Raven pov: I hugged jamel tightly and we just stood in silence for a minute before he got himself together. This was a happy moment because not everyone goes to college and I am extremely proud of him. I said bye and made my way to the parking lot.
