They got to Seattle in record timing.. Meredith was quite taken away with the apartment Derek took her to... it was a high rise apartment building, theirs was on the 7th floor.

"Hey." He frowned "It's a good deal, normally its 1500 a month but I made a deal with the manager to do the books for him every month and he's knocking off 400 dollars."

"Mer." He said in a calming tone "Its close to school, and I don't want to put you in another bad neighborhood.. and I don't want to live somewhere that things are going to be breaking all the time."

She turned and walked around the apartment as he walked over to a pile of boxes and started to open them wanting to get the packing done as soon as possible... she took in all the breathtaking architecture noticing that most of the apartment was already furnished..
