[DYLAN'S POV]

"Dylan, you know what you have to do. Bring them together....bring them together....bring them together....bring them together....bring them together...."
I gasped as I woke up. 'Why can't I sleep like a sane human being anymore?' I thought to myself. However, I felt very warm, as if I was standing in front of the sun, but I was in the middle of a wildfire. I didn't scream but I was attracted to it, so I stretched my hand out and it was immediately snuffed out. I was scared at first, but realised that it couldn't hurt me, so I placed my hands on top of all the other flames and extinguished them all too. Once my room was clear, I saw nothing was burnt to shreds. I looked down at my left wrist. The dim glow on my wristband faded suddenly. I shook my head and rushed out of my room to get ready for school.

When I got out of the school bus, I found Alya and Ivan waiting for me, "Hey, guys, why so serious?" I asked.
"It's the girl." Alya said.
"What does the girl have to do with school?" I asked.
"It's because she's here at the school." Just as Ivan finished his sentence, the girl walked over to us.
I doubled over at the feeling in my stomach that was stronger now more than ever.
"What's your name, mystery girl?" Isaac said.
"Martha," she said, "and yours?" she asked.
"Dylan." I said.
"Alya."
"Ivan."
"I believe we have already met?" she briskly walked along with us.
"Yeah, at the beach." Isaac sprouted a mischevous grin on his face.
Martha rolled her eyes at him, "Keep dreaming, loverboy."
"I like her already." Alya was vaguely amused by her comment.
"About what happened at the beach, I just want you to know that I've been looking for the three of you for a long time."
"You have?" I asked.
"Ever since yesterday at the beach, I knew that we four are connected." she looked at all of us.
"Well, on that note, how about we get to class before we're late." I attempted at changing the subject.

In class, I had continuous premonitions of a guy in a green suit constantly taking off his mask, over, and, over, and, over again, always revealing himself to be an old childhood friend of mine by the name of Eric.

{Eric and I were neighbours, for years, since we were born, our paths were destined to collide. He had been my friend during Grade 5, before I moved, before the divorce. In Grade 6, I was told that he was a bad influence, and had to tell him that I couldn't see him anymore. If I count the years without him, I haven't seen him since May 2017.}

These premonitions would momentarily disable me from moving or talking, but when I was explaining an answer in Technology, I fainted.
