Riley's POV
Walking into The Next Step the following week was so much easier then I thought it would be. I thought I would still be stuck in my head about everything that went down but in reality. I know I'm strong enough to stand on my two feet
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you Ri? I don't mind being a little late" James said holding both of my hands
"I'm sure James, I've already had away for 3 weeks, you need to get back" I answered
How James managed to get so much time off with the album coming up and whilst also working at Lost & Found
"Alright, call me if you need anything" He said kissing me, I smiled into the kiss
"OOOOOO" We hear a few voice yell causing us to pull a part and see the boys stood there laughing
"See you later" James chuckled kissing me once more earning the same response from the boys
I walked into Studio A to see George teaching a class, I remember that class
"You're back!" I hear Miss Kate squeal, I smiled heading into her office to hug her
"I am indeed" I chuckled
"Perfect timing!" She smiled
"What have I missed?" I asked
"Nothing really, all of your One To One's are ready to go though. I get daily emails and phone calls asking when you are back" Miss Kate smiled
"well you can let them know I'll be starting up again tomorrow. I want to use today to plan them all" I said and Miss Kate nodded in approval
"I'm heading to a meeting with Mr T, if you would be a love and give this to George when he's finished his class for me" she said handing me a piece of paper. I sighed nodded as I watched her walk away
As the class started coming to and end I took a deep breath in walking into Studio A greeted by his dirty smirk
"So she returns" He grumbled, I nodded handing him the piece of paper
"We need to talk anyway" I replied making his furrow his eyebrows at me
"Do you like your job here?" I asked and George shrugged and nodded
"In that case, you try and pull that shit again and I promise you, losing this job will be the least of your worries" I said confidently
I got through Lucas, I can get through George too
"What" He laughed
"You dare ever think about laying another hand on me or anyone around me I swear George. You'll be gone faster then you can say Boo" I said making him roll his eyes
"you think I'm joking?" I asked and he chuckled again
"Riley. I'm not a silly boy you can scare into leaving" He said moving over to the cubbies
"I'm not trying to scare you, I'm making you aware of the consequences if you continue" I replied and he nodded
"Shove your consequences" He replied and that is when I snapped
"You know what George. I'm sick of your shit. I put up with it every fucking year in New York and then just like Lucas you followed me here! I'm pretty certain if I can get an abusive prick to leave me alone I can get a pervy little creep to do the same" I growled making him look at me with dark eyes
He took another step towards me
"You think that means shit to me Riley? I couldn't really give a rats ass about your opinion about me. I came here for one reason and once reason only. This little game of ours is just some inflight entertainment" He said before finally walking away..
What could George be here for.....
James' POV
"He's back baby!" Luke chimed as we all walked into Lost & Found
"James!" Mr T said as he walked out of his office, I nodded at him before leaving the boys
"glad to see your back, how was your time away?" He asked and I smiled
"it was great thankyou. Where do you want me to start?" I asked and he chuckled
"well you're schedule is about to be a little bit more packed until I can sort it" He said making me furrow my brows at him
"Why?" I asked
"We had to let Marie go" he replied making me widen my eyes slightly
"When? Why?" I asked curiously
"It's a long complicated story but regardless. She's gone" Mr T said and I nodded. Mr T didn't like any drama and he was certainly not about to be a gossip
"Are you alright to take on some of her classes too? I know it means less practice with the boys but I'll get you a key cut so you can come in after hours" He offered, I smiled and nodded
"That works for me" I replied making him nod as he walked off
"Marie is goneeeeee!" I sung walking into Riley's corner to see her at her small desk on her laptop, she looked over at me with a small smile
"Nice to see you too" she chuckled as I walked over to her
"Did you not here me" I asked and she nodded
"Then why aren't you surprised" I said pouting at her. I thought Ri of all people would be over the moon about this
"Because I already knew" she chuckled making me look at her confused
"Miss Kate and Mr T had meeting this morning about her" Riley replied
"Did Miss Kate give you a reason?" I asked and Riley shook her head
I pouted a little bit again making Riley smile again coming over to press her lips against mine
"What time do you want to go home?" I asked her. It's so strange saying that instead of 'what time should I drop you home '
It's my home too
"I have maybe 2 more classes I need to finish then I'm done for the day" She smiled walking back over to her laptop, I stood behind her placing my head on her shoulder as she worked
If this was my forever, I wouldn't mind at all
