Chapter 21

Recap:"I moved from London. I planned this trip because I wanted to see my friends again. I moved to New York to get a break. Joe is my ex." She explained.
"Wow, you tell me this now?" I asked.
"Well sorry, you never asked!" She said, irritated. I stormed down the hall. I went into the elevator. I shut the door before anybody could follow. I sat with my arms crossed until the door opened. I went outside and sat on the sidewalk for a minute. I got a text from Sean: 'hey I saw ur video!' I texted back 'not now Sean.' And stood up. I looked up where the nearest Starbucks was. There was one a block away. I ran, my hair trailing behind me. I walked in and ordered an iced latte. It was pretty warm. I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"You look like a damsel in distress." A familiar voice said. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes peasant, I am having a bad day. Leave me alone." I said turning around. "Sorry your highness." I blurted.
"No problem." He pulled a chair and sat at my table. Out of how many Starbucks in LA, he came to this one. Fate actually gave me something good today.
"Not sure if you know who I am, but I'm Livella. I have met you a few times." I stuck out my hand.
"Pleasure. And yes, you seem rather familiar." He looked me up and down.
"I was the one screaming at my friends at VidCon." I said. "And I have a channel." I said.
"I've seen your videos. And you look different." He said.
"I dyed my hair." I flipped it over my shoulder.
"Want a tour?" He asked, waving at the street.
"I would love one." I said. Finally a few hours that a boy won't be drooling over me.

Ashley's POV
"Joe, I have to go after her." I said. He held me back by my wrist. We broke up when I left. We both needed space so we called it off.
"She needs time to process this." He said. I know he wants to get back together. That is why we went on this trip.
"Screw this I'll go find her." Phil said walking down the hall.
