Chapter 20

Recap:"Calm down. What happened?" Dan sat next to me. I sat up.
"I walked back to see Joe all up on Ashley, making out." I said. I'm furious.
"She did what?" Phil acted all sassy-like.
"Believe me, she can do what she wants, but not when we're in this situation." I motioned with my hands. I don't know why this was happening, but then again Ashley only moved here to go to college. I don't know where she lived before. Maybe this wasn't their first time meeting each other.
"Really? That's cold." Dan said.
"I just don't get it." I waved my hands around. It felt like I was talking to old friends. Then again when you're famous, everybody knows everything about you, and I know a lot about them, and they know a lot about me. I heard a knock at the door. No one made a move to get it, so I reluctantly answered it.
"It's not what it seems." She pleaded.
"NO I THINK IT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT SEEMS!" I said louder than I thought I would. "You plan this trip, bring us here, and then this happens? How is this not what it seems?" I asked, running my hands through my hair.
"I moved from London. I planned this trip because I wanted to see my friends again. I moved to New York to get a break. Joe is my ex." She explained.
