Frerea began to loosen Elena's chains with rough gestures, scratching her wrists.
Elena had no eyes but for that slut. She was ready to pounce on her and rip that black, putrid heart out of her chest, and rid the world of her pestilence.
With one last quick laugh, Cornelia began to shift into her wolf, while Frerea held Elena by the arms. It was as clear as that night that the witch intended to play dirty. Her smart plan was to fight against Elena in her wolf form, preventing Elena from doing the same.
Elena smiled to herself.
Cornelia stood no chance against Titilas, Elena's wolf. Little did she knew the chances to defeat Elena in her human form were slim regardless.
Wolf form or not, Elena was an Alpha's blood.
Alpha Giacomo had trained her hard, pushing her to combat werewolves in their wolf form countless of times. Warning her that, as an Alpha's daughter, she would have several enemies, both wolves and humans, lurking and waiting for the right moment to pounce.
Of course, her father was right.
Despite her confidence, Elena must not forget that her opponent was strong, trained by the most vicious wolves, and, most importantly, completely crazy.
An explosive combination.
Once Cornelia finished to shift, Frerea pushed Elena forward.
The latter did not waste a second. Rage and possessiveness pumped into her body as she launched herself at the brown wolf, taking it by surprise.
'Yeah, I'm fast, your stupid animal'
Elena connected her fist to her hairy face, causing a sickening snapping sound to fill the surroundings.
"Your wolf is as weak as your sick human form." Elena snarled as she watched the pathetic wolf fall backwards as blood began to spurt across the dry grass.
Cornelia's wolf rose quickly and stared at the girl with a mixture of disbelief and anger that made Elena grin. Then, the animal growled.
But Elena growled back, louder, as her fangs lengthened. Glittering and threatening.
Bewilderment was evident in those shocked wolf''s eyes, not expecting that.
Soon, they began to circle each other with cautious steps, observing and studying the rival.
Until the wolf launched itself at Elena's throat.
'Typical'
The latter could no longer bear the sight of that disgusting creature.
If she had been in her wolf form, Cornelia would have long been dead, because Titilas never showed mercy, she had been trained by her father himself to go straight for the kill.
Elena moved to the right, avoiding those yellowish fangs, and kicked her belly twice in a row, with a precise, fluid motion, before jumping backwards. Hearing more broken bones, Elena barely had time to be bitterly pleased.
In fact, Frerea had advanced, grabbing Elena's hair, pulling her head back and squeezing the delicate neck, making the girl almost faint.
Elena wiggled, coughing and choking, trying to free herself from the grip.
Seizing the opportunity, Cornelia dashed forward, her fangs soaked in saliva, ready for blood and flesh. Anger flared through those frantic eyes as the veins streamed out of furry face.
Frerea released Elena, shoving her to the ground, where she would be at the wolf's mercy, where it could tear her to shreds.
With a swift move, the evil wolf managed to bite Elena's leg, making her cry out in pain.
"Corn, you are bleeding! Calm down!" Frerea tried to reason with her feral companion, who was trying to get a better hold on Elena.
Thanks to an innate strength and powerful will, Elena twisted and grabbed the furry face, simultaneously beginning to turn.
The wolf's mouth started to bleed under the alpha daughter's grip. Elena was screaming, about to break the muzzle. Too focused, rage obliterated her senses...b
Bad mistake.
"Enough!" Frerea sneered at Elena, once again lunging at her...
Elena felt something tighten inside her. "Frerea, no! Do not do it! "
"Little shit! Why did you hurt her? "The gigantic woman didn't even let her reply. A mighty punch collided with Elena's stomach as an arm caught her." The poor girl twisted and writhed, too weak to move her, as Cornelia lay motionless on the floor.
"You wish you never came here tonight"
Too weak to react, too tired to reply, she let the shadows devour her as the giant woman began to drag her from her hair....

When Elena narrowed her bleary eyes, someone had just grabbed her left arm, probably leaving her with bruises, and dragged her further, then squeezed something metallic and painful around her wrists.
Looking around, Elena noticed the chain and handcuffs. A torch hanging on the wall cast a faint yellowish light even though most remained in a mysterious darkness. A mixture of pungent odors invaded her sensitive nostrils.
Shrieks of pure panic and muffled grunts seemed to come from all directions. Noticing that she was alone, in a cell, she didn't spot any way out. Concrete walls and thick stainless steel bars enclosed her in a cramped space. Who hadn't had the pleasure of cleaning in a long time.
The girl crawled up to get a better look but fell miserably to the ground. As if all her energy had been drained from her. Her wolf had evaporated, leaving a terrible silence in her head.
While Elena tugged at the chain, looking for weaknesses, testing each link for a possible weakness, her eyes kept an uncomfortable stare at the cell door ... trying to stay lucid in that hell, trying to ignore the fearsome screams.
It was difficult to define their origins.
Crazy wolves? Bubbling beasts? Tortured humans? Who could tell.
"Don't even try." A distorted voice came from the darkness, making her flinch. Was it one of the guards? When she leaned forward and caught two pairs of red eyes staring at her, she gulped, gathering her knees to her chest, and hiding her face.
Where I am? Who brought me here? What if Mirko never found me again?
Panic almost prevailed over her embittered soul. Regretting leaving the safety of her pack was an understatement.
"Do I smell a delicious Luna?" A hoarse voice startled her.
She did not know how long it had been since they had locked her there. Elena was getting lost in the agony of screams, roars and snarls that came from the surrounding darkness.
"Don't tell me Black Alpha sent you down here, to this godforsaken dump?"
The voice sounded like it belonged to someone or something without teeth from the way the owner spoke.
"I bet he's already tired of you. As is your father."
Ciro was not at all a pretty sight to see. He was surely blind; his eye sockets were empty and dry ... one even had a web of a spider in it...
Elena noticed with horror that several fingers of his hands had been badly cut off ... as if they had been bitten off by a hungry beast from another world ... or perhaps by one of those things that lived in that place.
A thick scar pattern covered his flesh everywhere Elena's eyes rested. On top of that, the excuse of a man was hunched over, as if someone had stolen his spine.
"Oh, damned Giacomo! He is such an expert in throwing away women useless to him."
Elena took an irregular, shaky breath and forced herself to utter a few words. "We never did anything wrong to you, Ciro. So, give us a break."
The once Alpha, once strong and powerful, stood up barely, with great effort, leaning on the bars. The ghost pattern of scars was move prominent and stood as a reminder of how he'd been tortured. In ways that normal human's eyes could never witness.
"Oh, you silly child! Your father is not as saint as you think he is." A sort of laugh, or what sounded like one but was more of a muffled gurgle reached Elena's ears.
"Ask him about Esmeralda, my damned sister, and how your dear perfect father abandoned her and their bastard son!" He spit on the ground, then beginning to hit something against the bars ... his head?!
If it had been a nightmare, it would have been well received.
Elena was too scared and too busy counting the new pairs of eyes that joined the previous two. Shivers of terror invaded her from top to bottom. She decided to remain completely silent, curled up and motionless like a stone.
"Shut up, you dirty piece of meat." A vicious voice came from somewhere.
Kicks and grunts came from the next cell.
To her dismay, Ciro let out another crazed laugh as those 'things' tore apart what was left of his body...
'Mirko! Where are you?'
