Coach told us that nekoma and date tech would be here with us. Although hinata said seijoh would be here too as he talked to the "great king". Apparently they exchanged numbers at the last match with them. Kageyama was practically boiling with rage at the idea of oikawa being there.
-recap over 3rd pov-
Everyone put away their items as they pulled into the gates of the training camp. It was huge, basically the size of a fancy high school. They grabbed their bags and slowly filed off the bus. They met with date tech and nekoma who were also getting off their busses. "Where's chibichan?" Kuroo said noticing hinata wasn't off the bus. Asahi realized his new boyfriend wasn't beside him.
"SORRY MY PHONE GOT STUCK IN THE SEAT GUYS" hinata basically yelled as he fell out of the bus. He tripped on the last step and closed his eyes out of instinct to brace for the pain. When he didn't hit the ground he opened his eyes and met someone's gaze. "Oh thanks aone" hinata smile brightly and hugged the giant. Aone couldn't help but blush and look away. "DUDE DID YOU SEE THAT HE MADE AONE BLUSH" noya shrieked.
Aone shot noya a murderous glare and hinata blushed hard knowing he made the stoic giant blush. Suga and kei quickly pulled hinata towards them and Asahi pretending to make sure he was oki. "OI MINI SPIDERMAN DIDN'T THINK YOU'D SEE ME HERE DID YOU" terushima yelled smiling wide at the tiny orange. Hinata ran to him and hugged him too. "I get to kick your butt here too man this is gonna be fun" hinata giggled softly.
Everyone was staring basically in love with a giggling orange. Hinata went back to his team awaiting instructions on where to go. "Oki so the owners have given the coaches keys to rooms, now If anyone gets in trouble they will be removed do you understand?" Ukai screamed. The whole team agreed and went to get their keys. "We don't care if you guys choose to share rooms or have sleep overs just keep it down so the rest of us can rest" All of the coaches screamed.
"KENMAAAAAAAAA" hinata shouted running towards his quiet friend. "Yes shoyo?" Kenma said opening his arms knowing hinata wanted a hug. "C-can we room together i really miss you" hinata said clinging to the cat. "Yes we can, but only for 2 nights oki? " kenma said kind of stern. He knew hinata would try and rope him in for the whole week but he couldn't give in. "Fine" hinata said kicking a small rock.
"Hey suga would you maybe wanna room with me?" Kei said reluctantly. "Sure" suga smiled widely knowing not to push it or he'd lose it. Everyone was pairing up with friends and partners and some were just alone. They all went to their rooms and put their stuff away. "Since we don't have practice today do you want to play some video games sho?" Kenma asked holding out a controller. "Sure can we play animal crossing" hinata smiled. "Sure we can" kenma felt immensely relaxed.
They played for a few hours then came on the intercom in all rooms. "Lunch will be in 15 minutes please head to the cafeteria" they finished a task in the game and put it away. Heading to the cafeteria they also ran into bokuto and kuroo. "Hey chibi-chan how are you" kuroo asked wrapping his arm around hinata. "I'm good kuroo thanks for asking, how are you?" "I'm good I heard ushijima agreed to come here to help practice though so that's a little scary." Kuroo joked. "Wait why scary?" Hinata asked curiously.
"The man's like a demon, he's terrifying" bokuto chimed in. Kuroo and kenma agreed. "No he's not, he just plays really well he's a really nice guy" hinata frowned a bit at their assumptions. They noticed hinatas expression change and felt bad. Hinata walked a bit faster to kind of distance himself in anger. They caught the hint and stayed back.
Hinata quickly bumped into someone. "Ow- OH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY I WASNT WATCHING WHERE I WAS WALKING" he screamed as he was trying to figure out who he bumped into. "It's o- shoyo?" The man turned around. "USHIIIII" hinata jumped on him. Ushijima couldn't help but catch the orange. "Be careful you'll hurt yourself" ushijima said calmly.
"Sorry sorry I just got excited I haven't seen you in a while and you're always too busy with practice to hang out" hinata exclaimed still hanging onto the taller male. "I'm sorry shoyo but here I am and we can hang out as much as you want" ushijima smiled. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE" hinata got scared and clinged on to ushijima harder not daring turning around.
"None of your business back off asshole" ushijima said quite angry that someone scared his friend. "I didn't know we had fags at this camp" the man laughed there were obviously more than one but hinata was still on ushijimas shoulder. Though after he heard the man exclaim that word he hopped off ushijima. "YOU WANNA FUCKING SAY THAT AGAIN" hinata screamed blood boiling.
"What the fact that your fags?" The man laughed again. Hinata quickly punched him in the face as hard as he could. The man fell, knocked out, his buddies quickly ran to find someone to help. "Woah what happened, he punched your friend?" Hinata heard a voice around the corner. They came around and hinata saw ukai talking to the man. "Ushijima did you hit someone?" Ukai said calmly.
"No it was the orange dude" the man exclaimed. Ukai just looked at the dude like he was stupid. "Yeah I hit your friend after he called me a fag and I'll hit you too if you dare say it" hinata said rage still burning in his eyes. Ukai didn't dare look hinata in the eyes but turned to the other man. "You insulted a volleyball player cornered him then expected him to let you do what you wanted? What are you stupid?" Ukai said laughing a bit.
"I'll have to inform the staff about what went on here including your behavior towards a fellow player so don't expect to stay here much longer from what I've heard hinata was protecting himself" ukai smiled deviously. Hinata knew he was safe so him and ushijima walked away. "Shoyo are you oki? You look like you're about to cry" ushi could read him too well damnit.
Hinata just jumped on ushijima again and started crying. He patted his back and whispered, "shhh its oki shoyo they're just a bunch of idiots don't worry" hinata calmed down and got off the giant. "I-i just thought I was safe from bullies in this place. I got so excited because I knew they couldn't follow me here... but they did" hinata wouldn't look ushi in the eyes. "Hey shoyo you are perfect, sweet, smart, funny, angelic, a miracle that anyone would be lucky to be around. Don't let some idiots ruin that happiness oki?"
Hinata smiled ushi smiled back. Ushi kissed him on the forehead and they walked to the cafeteria together. They walked in holding hands and everyone was confused. Kei, suga, and Asahi were honestly a little worried. They were nervous that ushijima had convinced hinata to leave them for him. Until hinata let go of ushis hand and ran to them. "What was all that?" Kei asked calmly. "Oh yeah I forgot to mention me and ushi are friends we kind of have been for about a year"
Everyone's faces turned into even noir confusion. "A year? Dang how have you handled him for that long." "Yeah he seems like the type of person who would hate happiness" suga and kei agreed. Asahi couldn't believe his ears. "Really you guys? I can't believe you're judging him on how he looks. I thought you weren't like that." Asahi got up and left hurt. Being judged by his looked Asahi knew exactly how bad it felt.
Hinata also got up extremely hurt. They were just being rude and insensitive. He left without a word just a hurt look in his eyes. He went to his room and texted ushi. [Hey could meet me in my room its 271] ushi was quick to reply [yeah what happened are you oki?] Hinata just left him on read and layed down. After a few minutes he heard a knock on his door. "Its me ushi I bright snacks and drinks too" he opened the door to ushijima and Asahi was behind him.
"He told me what happened and wanted to apologize" ushi said letting Asahi in. "I'm so sorry for what happened i though they were better then that" hinata said looking down. Asahi quickly hugged hinata and kissed him, "hey don't you apologize for them you're amazing and that's all that matters" Asahi said smiling. It calmed hinata down a lot actually.
"Oh I didn't realize you two were dating" ushi looked down. Hinata could hear the sadness in his voice. "Yeah I'm also dating suga and kei I'm poly I told you this ushi" hinata giggled and he hugged ushi too. Ushi smiled again and noticed Asahi giving him eyes. They weren't angry though, they were saying take your shot. "Well I have business to attend too so I'll leave you two alone" Asahi winked at ushi and left.
"Hey so ummm why did you sound sad when you found out me and Asahi were dating?" Hinata asked nervously. "Well I kind of maybe like you...no l-love you" ushi blushed hard not looking at hinatas face. "Awww ushi are you blushing" hinata laughed softly. "Ushi you know I like you too why are you so nervous" hinata giggled. "Y-you like me too!?" Ushi couldn't believe his ears. "Yeah why do you think I hang out with you any chance I get" hinata giggled jumping on ushi.
Ushi fell back on the bed and blushed even harder as hinata was straddling him. Hinata couldn't help but giggle. Ushi saw this as a chance he flipped hinata on his back in the bed and layed on top of him. "Hey no fair you're bigger then me I can't fight back" hinata giggled. "Awww that sucks" ushi teased as he kissed hinata. The door opened and ushi and hinata both froze in panic.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON HERE ARE YOU TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HINATA" kenma screamed as he saw what was going on. "No i-" ushi was quickly cut off by hinata. "LEAVE" hinata yelled angry. "Wa-" "I SAID GET OUT NOW GRAB YOUR STUFF AND LEAVE YOUR NOT STAYING WITH ANYMORE" hinata yelled even louder. "Shoyo wait its oki really" ushi said in a soft voice.
Kenma was confused and sad. He grabbed his stuff and left not wanting to anger his friend anymore. "Shoyo its oki I promise" ushi said as he kissed shoyo on the forehead. Coach ukai was trying to keep a crowd of people from running into hinatas room. "The cafeteria has ice cream lets go get some" he said loudly ushering the crowd away. "And hinata if you need me I'm 117" ukai said calmly as he closed the door and walked away.
Hinata quickly pulled ushi down by his collar. "I love you and I'm frustrated can we get ice cream" hinata kissed him and gave him pouty eyes. "Whats fair about those eyes" ushi joked. Hinata giggled a bit and kissed ushi again. They went to the cafeteria and got ice cream. They went outside to sit in the grass. It was getting slightly cooler outside and hinata was shivering.
"Here take my jacket you're cold" ushi said handing hinata his obviously too big jacket. "Thank you ushi but can we go back to the room after this I wanna watch movies and cuddle" hinata said taking a spoonful of ushis ice cream while giggling. "Yeah we can I brought my iPad so we can watch Netflix on that if you want" ushi said as he told some of hinatas ice cream too.
They finished they're ice cream and went back to hinatas room. "What do you wanna watch?" Ushi said scrolling though Netflix. "Oohh can we watch the good place" hinata said with huge pleading eyes. "You don't need the eyes shoyo I like that show too" ushi chuckled. They got through about 7 episodes before hinata was kissing ushi again. It wasn't sexual just calming and relaxing.
Ushi was back on top of hinata, now it was kind of sexual. Hinata was quick to make ushi giggle by poking his side. He tried to use the same move ushi used on him earlier. It didn't work and ushi just laughed a bit and kissed hinatas neck. Hinata moaned softly telling ushi to keep going. They were sadly cut short by the intercom coming on. "It is almost dinner time please make your way to the feild" "to the feild?" Hinata said confused. "I don't know either but I'm starving" ushi laughed a bit.
"Me too" hinata giggled with him. They headed out after calming themselves down. They got to the field and noticed the insane amount of smoking grills. "So because this is a very long training camp we thought it only necessary to reward our players with a barbecue every night. Of course there will be vegetarian options. " the coaches yelled out. Everyone started drooling and filling up plates.
Thank goodness the coaches made a lot because these boys could eat a lot. Ushi fixed him and hinata full plates and they both ate them within minutes. Ushi was a little surprised hinata could eat the same as him. They were interrupted by suga. "Hey hinata could you come with me with for a second you can bring ushijima if you want" hinata nodded and followed.
He dragged ushi with him beside the gym was kei and kenma. "We wanted to apologize. We were especially rude to ushijima and judged him without knowing. I am very sorry for my actions" suga bowed. "You don't have to bow suga its oki but kei and kenma don't look like they want to apologize." Hinata glared at them.
Hinata could see they were visibly angry that he bright ushijima with him. "Why are you so angry you're the one who judged someone with no knowledge of his life. You have no right to be the one who's mad here" hinata was getting angrier. "I'm sorry" kei said gritting his teeth. "No you're not, neither of you are sorry don't lie to me you're mad I brought ushi with me because you have to face him. I can't believe you too kenma you don't even have the guts to look at me both of you leave me alone." Hinata spat.
"Wh-" kei almost said before hinata glared at him. "We're done tsukishima" hinata hissed at him. "I'll see you later suga i love you thank you" hinata hugged suga before leaving with ushi. Once they made it to hinatas room he broke down. He knees gave out as he started hyperventilating. "Shhh its oki come here shoyo" ushi said as he hugged shoyo and kissed his forehead. Hinata calmed down a bit and they cuddled until they fell asleep.
