I opened my eyes to the pain, a lot of it. I looked down to see cuts on my legs deep ones that needed stitches.
"When they find you they'll think you killed yourself since I realized I won't be in prison with Justin I might as well get away with murder," she said.
"Have you ever met a Reid?" I asked kind of laughing.
"What's a Reid?"
"Only one of the smartest people ever he'll be able to tell I didn't make those cuts me" I laughed.
"We'll see," she said.
"And Emily and JJ and Garcia and Rossi and Hotch" I couldn't bring myself to say dereks names. "They'll come after you and you'll be lucky enough if Emily or well if she doesn't put a bullet in you before Hotch can put your ass in prison"
"Your laughing makes you seem very disturbing," she said.
"Oh you're just funny"
"Okay here's how this goes, if they send a question you'll tell me how to respond and if you don't you get another cut or some other form of torture. Is that understood" Kam said.
"Kiss my ass, Derek will find me," I said.
"Oh now you mention dear little Derek I was waiting for that, you think maybe after you're dead he and I will bond over losing a person we love I mean after all we were best friends in high school, and maybe he'll date me," she said as she slowly started to delete pictures of me and Derek from my phone and changed my Facebook status to single. I only laughed more because Garcia would see that and she knows I wouldn't do that it was only a matter of time before she tracked my phone here.
Days went by and Kam didn't give me food or water and she cut me over and over.
I woke up once again like I had been doing many times and each time I did more and more of my blood was on the floor.
"You know if you answered their questions you'd probably last longer. It's been 4 days and they are finally on their way back. And poor Derek is so heartbroken you broke up with him ugh he won't stop calling"
"Go to hell"
"I'll see you there soon hun"
"They'll find me and whether I'm dead or alive they'll come after you," I said trying to sit up only to fall over.
"Save your energy I've planned a new series finale for you"
"What's better than my team and family finding me dead," I said.
"Them watching me kill you duh"
"Oh fuck me"
"That can be arranged," she said.
I stopped talking and started laughing.
"Oh Kam it's so funny you think I'm so attached to these people, haven't you learned Kam I don't give a shit about anyone but myself, you should know that I put your boyfriend in jail to save my ass, I got rid of you as a friend because you annoyed me, and I only did girls nights with them to make them think I cared but the truth is I don't give a fuck. I'm the smartest one on the team, I could run that whole unit by myself. As for Derek take him he's all yours he was just a toy for me until I got bored of the BAU and moved away again and started new. Rossi isn't like a father I just let him think he is so he doesn't feel bad that he broke his damn promise to me, but the truth is I hate him, he lied and broke me" I said laughing.
"Wow Justin was right about you, and I thought I was the crazy person here," Kam said. "In that case, I might just leave you here to rot until you die and I'll go live my life," she said thinking.
"Do whatever you want I don't care, I wish I died with my parents when I was 15 years old but instead I was stuck to deal with you" I knew I was pissing her off. Suddenly she walked over to a camera and stopped it. She recorded the whole thing.
"Great now I'll edit myself out and send this to your team. Enjoy rotting here bitch" she said.
I couldn't be mad she was doing that because Garcia would know where I was and they'd find me. They'd find me right?
I passed back out I guess that was due to the fact I was dying from my blood loss and no food or water for 4 days. When my eyes finally opened I thought I was dead I saw a bright light and it was so peaceful.
Well, it was peaceful for all of a moment and then pain rushed into my whole body as I felt the paddles bring me back to life and I heard someone yell clear.
Derek's POV.
The case was pretty rough, for me anyway. Y/N broke up with me over text and she wasn't responding to anyone's messages.
As soon as the jet landed we all went back to the BAU, Hotch came out of his office about 5 minutes after walking in.
"Guys" he called for us and we all walked to the round table.
"What is it Hotch?" Reid asked.
"Y/N send an email for her two weeks notice that she's leaving but said she wouldn't be here at all because she was moving," Hotch said.
"That's bullshit she wouldn't just up and leave us" I yelled.
"Derek she is," Hotch said.
"No she's not," Garcia said as she walked in, she grabbed the remote and pulled up a video on the screen.
"This was sent to me just now, whatever had happened the unsub isn't doing a good job as making it look like Y/N is leaving especially with sending this" Garcia said.
"Unsub?" Emily said.
"Yes brace yourselves, it's very hard to watch and Y/N says somethings, things we don't need to take to heart because she only said them to protect us from the person who took her okay? Garcia said with a really sad smile.
We all nodded and she started the video, we listened to the things Y/N said about all of us, it was rough but I knew when she said what she said about me it wasn't true because what we have isn't something you have every day. So I had to remind myself she was doing what she had to do to get through this. After she said all those things it showed small clips of the unsub cutting her and beating her because Y/N wouldn't tell her how to respond to us. By the looks of Y/N, she was running out of time she lost a lot of blood which meant we didn't have the time to sit and be upset we had to push our feelings aside to find her.
"That's a basement" Rossi Said.
"How do you know?" I asked him.
"Well, Derek because all the basements in my neighborhood look the same. And are built the same" Rossi told me.
"So we know she's in Rossi's neighborhood and a basement," Reid said.
"Hey Garcia where does Karmen live?" JJ asked.
"Not in the neighborhood unfortunately it was the first thing I thought of."
"What about the family?" Emily asked.
"Good point" Garcia pulled out her laptop and started typing. "Her uncle lives in the neighborhood, but her parent's house is up for auction... In three days.."
"Let's move out," Hotch said.
We got to the house and I ran in without signal, I ran down to the basement and saw Y/N body laying there.
"Get a medic now!" I yelled.
"Oh, Derek!" Jj said as she made it down to the basement.
"Where the hell is the medic" I yelled.
Soon three medics were down the stairs and put her body on the stretcher.
"Low pulse we need to move she doesn't have much time," one said.
They got her up the stairs and into an ambulance and they were gone. They wouldn't let us ride with them because we weren't immediate family and there wasn't enough space since all three guys were working on her.
We all got to the hospital and we're waiting on the news but it was taking so long.
"I swear when I find that bitch I'll put a bullet in her," I said hitting a wall.
"You'll do no such thing," Hotch said.
"And why the hell not"
"Because they'll know it's because of your feelings for Y/N and you'll lose your job and go to jail where Karmen belongs," he said.
"This is bullshit. We should be out there finding her"
"Derek we have all the police on this they'll find Karmen," JJ said.
"I wanna be the one to find her," I said.
"We can't let you do that and you know that Derek," Emily said.
"What if we lose her?" Reid asked.
"We aren't going to, everything is gonna be okay, she's gonna be okay," Garcia said.
"I was just starting to have a friendship with her" Reid said looking at the ground.
"I guess you were the last to bond with her" JJ said next to Reid hugging him.
Just then the doctor came out, "are y'all here for Y/F/N."
"Yes!" Garcia said.
"Well she's out of surgery, it was touch and go for a while she lost a lot of blood and suffered many deep cuts along her arms and legs, the worst cut however was on her stomach and there was a lot of damage there but we were able to repair it. She can have visitors in the morning, for now, we are allowing the only family. Or one close friend seeing how her family is all over the states."
