Chapter 131: Wedding
CAMRYN'S POV
"Ugh, I'm freaking out!" I groaned.
"Calm down." My mom said, touching up my makeup. "Everything is going to be fine."
"B-But, what-what if eveything changes, what if I'm not a good enough wife, what if our mar-"
"Camryn." My mom said, gripping my face. "Calm down, close your eyes and take a deep breath." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Do you feel better?"
"I'm still nervous."
"It's okay Camryn, that will pass. Just try to relax."
"Ugh!" I groaned, throwing my head back.
"Here Camryn, I have something for you." My Grandma Harley said, walking up behind me. She put something around my neck and smiled. I looked in the mirror to see a small, diamond necklace.
"Grandma, it's beautiful." I said with a smile.
"My mother wore it at her wedding, I wore it at mine, your mom wore it at hers and your aunts wore it."
"Well thank you." I smiled.
"No problem." She said, kissing my cheek. There was a knock on the door and Danielle opened it.
"It's dad." She said.
"Let him in." I said. He walked in and gasped when he saw me.
"Camryn, you look so beautiful and grown up." He said, hugging me.
"Thanks." I said.
"We're just about to start, are you ready?"
"I guess, I'm just really nervous."
"Chris is equally as nervous, don't worry." There was another knock on the door and Danielle opened it again.
"It's Chris' dad." She said, opening the door wider.
"Brandon, can I speak to you out here?"
"Yeah." He said and walked out.
BRANDON'S POV
"What's up?"
"Chris ran off."
"WHAT!" I screamed, hearing the door open. Alex stepped out and closed the door behind her.
"What is going on? Camryn is starting to freak out again."
"Chris ran off." I sighed.
"What!" She whisper yelled.
"Where'd he go? Why?" I asked.
"He's been super nervous all day and he's kept coming with 'what if's'. I guess it finally got to him and he ran off. I don't know where."
"Ugh, let me see if I can find him." I groaned, running out of the building.
ALEX'S POV
"Uhm, stall the guests and I'll try to keep Camryn calm." I said.
"Alright." Chris' dad said and left. I took a deep breath before walking back in.
"Mom, what's going on?" Camryn asked.
"We're going to have to wait a few more minutes to start the wedding."
"What! Why?" She asked, starting to panic.
"Chris sort of ran off."
"WHAT! O-Oh my god, I-I have to go find him." She said, standing up.
"Camryn, calm dow-"
"CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN! MY FIANCEE JUST RAN OFF MINUTES BEFORE WE'RE ABOUT TO GET MARRIED! I HAVE TO GO FIND HIM!"
"CAMRYN! SIT DOWN!" I exclaimed, pushing her back into her chair. "Look, your dad went to go find him. Just relax."
"Oh god, I knew this day was going to be a disaster." She groaned.
"Camryn, it's not a disaster. It's just a little bump in the road. Look, I ran off on my wedding day too, but your dad found me and calmed me down."
"R-Really?"
"Yeah, I'm actually surprised you're not the one who ran off." My mom laughed and I smiled a bit. "There's that smile." She said, kissing my forehead. "Now, just take a moment to relax and let your dad take care of everything." She said and I nodded.
BRANDON'S POV
"CHRIS!" I yelled, looking all around the property that they had rented out for their wedding. "God damnit." I sighed. "It's going to take me forever to find him." I said, taking a second to catch my breath. "CHRIS!" I tried again.
Suddenly, I saw someone sitting on a bench and I smiled. I ran over and confirmed that it was Chris.
"Chris." I said, running up to him.
"Leave me alone." He mumbled.
"Chris, why'd you run off?" I asked, sitting next to him.
"This isn't going to work Brandon. I'm a fucking horrible person. I don't even know why Camryn likes me. We're going to end up getting a divorce and I'm going to fu-"
"Chris, stop it." I said. "Camryn loves you and I know that you love her. I can't think of anyone that would be more perfect for her than you. You're a great father, a great boyfriend and you're going to be a great husband. You and Camryn are going to live a long, happy life, together."
"Really?"
"Yes Chris, now let's get back before your fiancee explodes."
"Okay." He laughed. We stood up and walked back to the building.
"I'll go let them know that you're back." I said and walked off. I knocked on the door, Danielle opening it. I walked in and Camryn stood up.
"Did you find him?"
"Yes, now let's have this wedding before anyone else runs off." Everyone agreed and walked out of the room. "Are you ready Camryn?" I asked.
"Yes." She said, standing up and hugging me. "I love you daddy."
"I love you too baby girl." I said, hugging her back. We walked out of the room and out of the building. We stopped behind a screen as the bridesmaids began to walk down the aisle.
CAMRYN'S POV
I could feel my heart in my throat as everyone walked down the aisle. I can't believe I'm actually getting married.
"Go Dakota." My dad whispered. She walked out from behind the screen, dropping petals as she walked. I took deep breaths, my dad and I inching closer to the edge of the screen, our arms locked. We heard the music change and I tensed up.
"Relax." My dad whispered as we stepped out from behind the screen. I saw Chris standing at the altar and a huge smile spread across my face. We took one step at a time, going slowly down the aisle. We reached the end and everyone sat down, the music stopping.
"Who gives this woman to this man in marriage?" The officiant asked.
"Her mother and I do." My dad said, letting go of me, going to sit next to my mom. I stepped forward and turned to face Chris. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the joining of Camryn Jenna Biersack and Christopher Evan Longsworth in marriage. With love and commitment, they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife." The officiant said.
***
After a while, it was time for vows and I went first.
"Chris, I love you so much. I've known you were the one for the longest time and I knew I could never love anyone the way I loved you. We have a perfect son together and I can't wait for our family to expand. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you Christopher Evan Longsworth." I said, tears rolling down my cheeks. Chris smiled and took a deep breath.
"Camryn, I can't imagine a life without you. You are the most perfect thing in the world and I love you with all of my heart. Before I met you, my life was hell, and you quickly turned that around, just by talking to me. You gave me the son I've always wanted and I can't think of anyone better to be the mother that I share the rollercoaster that is parenthood with. I look forward to the years to come that we will be togehter. I love you so much, Camryn Jenna Biersack." He smiled.
"Can we have the rings?" The officiant asked. My brothers stepped up, each holding a pillow with one ring on each. Eli was standing next to me with Chris' ring and Eddie was standing next to Chris with my ring. They handed us the rings and then left.
"I Camryn give you Chris this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." I said, slipping the ring onto his left ring finger.
"I Chris give you Camryn this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." He said, sliding my ring onto my finger.
"Do you Chris, take Camryn to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?"
"I do."
"Do you Camryn, take Chris to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?"
"I do."
"And now, by the power vested in me and by the State of California, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Chris wrapped his arms around me and gave me a long, passionate kiss, breaking away and smiling at me. We turned around, smiles on both of our faces, locking our arms.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Mr and Mrs Christopher Longsworth." Everone cheered as we walked up the aisle. Once we reached the end of the aisle, Chris picked me up and carried me away from everyone. We took a short walk to allow everyone to get to the reception tent.
"I can't believe we're actually married." Chris said as we walked.
"I know." I said, resting my head on his shoulder. We sat down on a bench and I closed my eyes. 'I felt like a fifty pound weight has been lifted off of my shoulders."
"Same." He said, placing his hand on my thigh. "And now you're mine forever." He said, kissing my lips.
"I can't think of a better person to share forever with." I said.
"We should probably get back." He said and I nodded. We stood up and walked to the tent.
"Please clear the dance floor for the bride and groom's first dance." The DJ said. Chris and I stood on the dance floor as our sng started playing. We chose Without You by Motley Crue because it was a slowish song to dance to with a good meaning but it wasn't too slow.
The whole time we danced, Chris was singing to me, making me cry. I loved him to an unbelievable length and still couldn't believe he was finally mine, forever.
The song ended and everyone clapped. Chris leaned down and kissed me, holding me close to him. We pulled away and we bhugged.
"Now it's time for the father-daughter dance." The DJ said as my dad stood up and walked over to me. The song my dad and I chose was My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. The song began to play and my dad and I started to dance.
My dad sang it to me as we danced around the dance floor. Halfway through, I noticed he was crying, which made me cry.
"Don't cry dad." I whispered. "You're making me cry." He just smiled at me and kept singing. The song finished and he hugged me tightly. He pulled away and wiped away my tears with his thumbs.
"You'll always be my little girl." My dad whispered and I smiled, leaning up and kissing his cheek.
"Always." I said, smiling at him. He wiped his tears and walked back to my mom. I walked back to Chris and kissed his lips, sitting down.
"I think someone wants to see his parents." My Grandma Harley said, coming up to us with Colton. I held out my arms and she placed Colton in my arms.
"Hi Colton." I said, kissing his nose.
"We're finally a complete family." Chris said and I nodded, kissing his lips.
***
After a while, it was time to cut the cake. Chris and I cut the cake together, putting the piece we cut onto a plate. We cut it into halves so we could feed it to each other. Chris picked up his piece and I opened my mouth. He smirked and smashed the cake into my face. I gasped and he just burst out laughing. He leaned in and licked some cake off of my face.
I grabbed the other half and smashed it into his face.
"Okay, I deserved that." He laughed. We grabbed napkins and wiped the cake off of our faces, but I had to be careful not to ruin my makeup too much. We passed out the cake and then opened presents.
***
"Hmm, this one is addressed only to me." He said after we opened almost all of the presents. He opened it up and let out a big sigh. I looked over and gasped. A box of condoms.
"Oh my god, who the hell is this from?" I asked, grabbing the wrapping paper and looking at the tag. "To Chris, from your new father-in-law. DAD!" I exclaimed and he burst out laughing.
"What'd you do?" My mom asked.
"He gave Chris a box of condoms!" My mom rolled her eyes and slapped my dad's arm.
"I'm not ready to be a grandfather again." My dad said.
"It's a tradition in the family." My Grandpa Andy said. "I gave your dad the same present, Camryn."
"Oh god." I groaned, putting my head into my hands.
"Let's continue opening presents, shall we?" Chris said and I nodded.
"Please."
