Mr. Schue was in the choir room, talking to everyone. Rachel had just met with him with a list of the people who were not singing in the club anymore, and he needed to address it now before it got out of control.

"I am very disappointed in you guys." Mr. Schue said, looking disappointedly at the club.

"I can't believe you narced on us," Finn whispered, glaring at Rachel, and Bea shrugged, "I actually can," the girl gave a pointing looked to Nathalie, "no surprises."

"Don't get mad at me for exposing your laziness," Rachel defended herself, "I'm tired of carrying all of your weight. Regionals is in a month, guys."

How dramatic.

"I'm just trying to understand what's going on here. Finn, why did you stop singing?" Mr. Schue asked, looking at Finn.

"Cause you started giving all the male leads to Jesse. It kind of shook my confidence, y'know." Finn admitted.

Nathalie rolled her eyes, "how hypocritical."

Santana let out an exasperated sigh when Mr. Schue raised a questioning eyebrow at her, "what difference does it make? Everyone knows that my job is here to look hot."

Nathalie smirked and grabbed her phone to take a picture of the latina, "you're doing amazing sweetie."

"My baby hormones are making me moody," Quinn admitted.

"Too lazy." Bea yawned and rested her head on Nathalie's shoulder.

"There are so many lyrics," Brittany explained.

"Okay. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link." Mr. Schue began, "a glee club is about a myriad of voices coming together as one. Alright? This ends now. Which is why your assignment for the week is for each of you to come up with a song that best represents how you see yourself, where you are in your lives right now. Your voice. Then you're going to stand up here and sing your hearts out. All of you."

"Solos? In front of everyone?" Kurt excitedly asked and Bea celebrated the fact that, finally, she can sing what she really wants.

"The Glee Club has lost its voice. It's time for us to get it back." Mr. Schue attempted to motivate them as the bell rang.

Everyone started leaving the choir room, Kurt, Bea, and Nathalie were discussing about what they were going to sing it, "I'm thinking of doing an original." Nathalie thought out loud and the other two were please with her idea.

They sure do love their songs.

"I don't know which one I'm going to sing but I am going to kill this assignment," Kurt told them confidently.

Bea interlaced her arm with Kurt's and smiled, "I'm thinking Avril Lavigne. Maybe Complicated. Not sure yet."

"You should totally go for it," Nathalie encouraged her sister, "I love it when you sing her songs."

Before Bea could say anything, their father appeared in the hallway behind them, "hey, kids."

Kurt turned around to smile at their dad and Nathalie opened her locker to put some books inside, "hey, dad! What you doing here?"

"I'm here to pick up Finn and Bea," he answered as he wrapped his arm around the girl, "I got some tickets to the Reds game, and Carol said that Finn's never been to a major league game.  I mean, it's Cincinnati, so it's barely the major leagues, but still," Burt gave his another daughter a smile, "you sure you don't wanna come?"

Nathalie nodded and gave the two a small smile, "yeah, dad don't worry. I've got tones of work to do."

"And why wasn't I invited?" Kurt asked with his arms crossed and their dad laughed, "are you kidding me? Every time I sit down and watch a game, you start in on the fact that all the players are wearing stirrup pants."

"Because there's never an excuse for stirrup pants." Kurt pointed out.

Finally showing on Nathalie's locker, Finn gave Burt an apologetic smile, "I'm ready."

"Alright, I'll meet you by the car. This is gonna be so great. It's gonna be great for Finn, and it means a lot to his mom, too. Hey, I'll see you at home. I'll be home around midnight." Their dad informed them, kissing their foreheads, and the three left the school.

Nathalie turned to look at Kurt, just to see him frowning, "don't worry, Kurt. They're just going to hang out." The girl reassured him and kissed his cheek.

"I know," he sighed and the two proceeded walking towards the parking lot, "it's just... they've been hanging out a lot."

Nathalie sighed. She understands his point of view and feelings, but she also understands what their dad is doing with Finn and Bea. Burt just wants to make their family close but, unfortunately, Kurt couldn't see that yet.

On the previous day, Rachel tried, keyword tried, to sing Miley Cyrus's The Climb for the assignment, but her voice failed. Long story short, she had laryngitis.

So it's Bea's time to shine.

But Finn was the first one to approach the front of the room when Mr. Schue suggested him to do his solo. The opening solo guitar could be heard, and Nathalie widened her eye when she realized the song he was singing.

He really was singing Jesse's Girl, without Jesse in the choir room to Rachel. How Nathalie wished the boy was there.

So she grabbed her phone and recorded the whole song to show the boy.

This is going to be fun.

Nathalie couldn't help but applaud to his braveness. Not everyone could do what he had done, singing about wanting a guy's girlfriend.

"Nice work. Now that, that is the kind of soul-exposing song I was talking about. We should all be inspired by Finn's bravery. Good job, buddy."

After the boy sat down, Bea finally asked if she could sing her solo. Mr. Schue let the girl, and she asked her sister to back her up on the piano.

Bea really did choose Avril Lavigne's Complicated and sang it so perfectly that Nathalie even let out a few tears. Bea really knows how to put all her emotions through the songs.

Bea relates to the song a lot; it talks about a "complicated" relationship, just like her and Matt. When they are alone everything is all good, he makes her laugh, and she appreciates him for who he is.

However, he puts on a different face when he's around other people, most of times, when they are in school and he's trying to be the popular jock that doesn't want to settle down. And when he behaves like that, Bea is totally turned off.

So now their relationship had reached a point where she's generally uncomfortable in it and, now singing this song, Matt got the message.

She doesn't want to be with someone who's constantly breaking her heart.

︶   ︶   ︶   ︶   ︶   ︶

Jesse was back to the Glee club and Nathalie filled him in with everything that happened, and even showed him the video of Finn.

He didn't even care about that.

The only thing he did care was Nathalie's solo choice. He must admit, it was a bold choice to sing an original, but that was one of the things he most liked about the girl. She loves pushing boundaries and she always succeeds.

Nathalie is amazing in whatever she does.

Rachel didn't like to think that ,she was the only one who didn't applaud for Nathalie and she was pissed that Jesse didn't find out about the girl's idea.

So she asked for Jesse to give Nathalie a ride and the boy told the cheerio.

Well, Rachel didn't specifically said to give what type of ride.

That's what Nathalie thought as the two got into his car, after they ignored the confused looks from everyone, especially from Matt and Mike.

"Since when the two are close?"

"No idea..." Matt mumbled, and Mike sighed, both had gone crazy without their two favorite girls, but it's their fault that they are not on speaking terms. Matt had broken Bea's heart and Mike decided to go crazy mode just to see if Nathalie was dating someone or not.

Now they felt alone without the two girls.

Back at Jesse's car, the two were talking about how amazing Nathalie's solo was and Jesse couldn't help and just keep talking about the meaningful lyrics.

"What's the name of the song?"

"Who Says. I wrote a while ago, and just now had the courage to sing to everyone."

Jesse softly smiled and one of his hands let go of the wheel to softly be placed on the girl's thigh, "it was beautiful."

The girl thanked and both fell in a comfortable silence as they listened to whatever was going on the radio and Jesse innocently kept stroking the inside of her thigh. Nathalie felt that touch and sure wanted more, but not when he's driving the car.

"Jesse... stop the car."

Jesse looked at her confused. Their eyes met and he could see the lust filling her eyes.

"Uh..."

"God, just pulled over." Nathalie was impatient and the boy did what he was told to. As soon as he pulled over the car somewhere well hidden, he watched in awe as Nathalie took out her own shirt.

"Should we move somewhere else?"

Nathalie didn't dare to give him an answer and crashed their lips together, her hand tugging the boy's shirt as well. The kiss stopped so that Jesse could take his shirt and Nathalie took her chance and straddled the boy.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

Nathalie gave the boy a look as she teasingly took her bra out, making the boy sigh.

Nathalie sure does have a beautiful body.

"This is not the first time we've done this in car, James. But I liked the idea of you asking for consent."

The boy winked and unzipped his jeans, "like you said, consent is sexy."

"It is. Now," Nathalie confirmed and helped him taking off his jeans, "don't hold back."

And let me tell you, none of them hold back.
