The sun was down and the moon was up , darkness surrounded the earth with a little bit of light in this world coming from the moon . That light fell upon a boy who was sleeping peaceful unaware about anything going around him . Next to him was a beast that was wide awake watching the boy through his loving eyes . Earlier when nick did not have harry in his arms he couldn't fall asleep now that he has harry with him he is afraid to fall asleep . Afraid that he might wake up to find all this was a dream .
He slowly carssed harry cheeks feeling the soft baby skin beneath his fingers . Moving down he touched harry's plumped lips resisting the urge to kiss them right here , right now . Nick knew harry will not like that and he was ready to give him that freedom . He had swear on his life that he will never force harry to be with him , sexually . All that he needed was harry to be beside him till his last breath . No matter what the world might think about him but the truth is nick really do love harry . He loves him so much that he can't bear to be without him ; every step he takes whether right or wrong, he takes it to reach near harry.
Suddenly there was a howl echoing in the dense quiet forest . That howl woke harry up because it was from his alphas . The howl screamed harry's name with a cry in its tone , it showed how miserable they were feeling at that moment . Harry's eyes welled up in tears hearing the pained cry coming from his alphas . Almost everyone in the town heard that howl and were serectly parying for Harry's safety .
Harry tried to look around but couldn't see nothing except darkness . Suddenly he felt hot breath near his ear as nick whispered softly ,
"You are fine babe , calm down . You are safe with me .."
Harry pushed him away and got off the bed trying the find the switch board to turn the lights on . Nick laid back down on the mattress enjoying the scene of a panicked pup running around the room helplessly . Harry finally found the switch board near the cupboard and turned the lights on ,
"Well that was fast .."
Nick said getting up as well and walking towards harry ,
"Take one step closer and I'll make sure you loose two of your tooth today ." Harry growled with his eyes looking up at nick in fury .
"You haven't changed a bit and that's what I love about you ." Nick teased harry loving the way his words affected him . Harry grits his teeths together but didn't bothered to reply as he was distracted by the howl let out by his alphas . He unconsciously went near the window and looked out at the dense forest worry clouding his mind . Nick came beside him and soflty whispered ,
"You really love them don't you ?"
Harry turned to nick with a surprised look while nick studied Harry's reaction deeply . Harry had almost forgot that nick was not only his physco lover but also his best friend ; well he was once . Nick knows harry very well , he knows Harry's every move even before he thinks of making one . So that's why he didn't answered Nick's question Instead kept on staring out of the window. Nick sighed sadly before saying ,
"But do they love you as much as you love them ..?"
Harry turned to nick in a spilt second and grabbed him by his neck as he forced the words out of his mouth ,
"Don't push your luck nick , and don't ever say the name of my alphas from that dirt mouth of your . No matter how much you try you can't manipulate me !!"
Unlike his expectations nick just laughed sadly while looking at him with tears in his eyes ,
"If you had loved me even an inch of how much you love them then I would never have to kidnap you like this and hold you against you will . Your alphas might actually love you but they can't compare to the love I have for you and you know that as well . The point is whether you want to accept it or not ..."
And with that being said nick walked out of the room angrily wipping the tears of his face . Harry sat down on the bed with a depressed sigh , he looked around the room to find it was a decent room to say least , the walls were painted white and golden , well furnished. The colour of bedsheets , curtains and the back wall were all matching . Don't even start about the picture on the walls , the whole room had a kind of fashion sense in it . Somewhat the way harry would design his room if he got the chance ..
"This is alpha's room .."
And young beta said as he entered inside the room ; without knocking .
{A/n here everyone refers to Nick as alpha as a sign of respect . Not that he is the mate alpha of them. }
He had a tray of food in his hand which he placed down at the table . Behind him the was the red haired guy who was definitely the right hand of nick or something like that judging by the way he was stuck with Nick's side the whole time.
"Umm the alpha has said you should eat this , he says the energy level in you body is too low . Also you will be staying in this room so if you need anything you can ask anyone around ."
Harry looked down to see taco on his plate and initially tried to stop from laughing out loud . When they were really young and harry used to get upset with anything he would demand nick to buy him tacos. He used to say taco can heal any type of pain . When they grew older nick learned how to make tacos saying that everything that harry loves should be made or approved by him . He might never admit it out loud but nick can make the best taco in the world .
The beta walked out of the room but that red haired stayed there . He fiddled with his finger's for a bit before saying hesitantly ,
"My name is Michael but you can call me Mick , ummm ... Actually I wanted to thank you .." seeing the confusion on Harry's face he uttered , "the alpha you saved few hours ago was my brother . And I know we are kind of your enemy and keeping you here without your will but then too you saved his life , for that I will always be greatful to you . I cannot free you but if you ever need any favor from me just say , I'll help you in every way possible ."
Harry looked at him for a minute before saying ,
"You hear those howl echoing in the air , those are from my alphas . You want to help me right , so can you help me reduce their pain and misery ."
Mick looked out of the window before laughing sarcastically saying ,
"If you think this is the worst pain anyone has to ever go through because of you then you are wrong . You were not here when our alpha was going through the misery of being without you . He never ate , never slept properly , hell he had never seen the sun for months . He used to lock himself in his room turning his back to every comfort we offered because it was not from you . How many nights I have woke up from the sound of his cries , his broken voice only mummering your name . Tell me one thing omega what does your mates have that my alpha doesn't .. why do you have to torture him like that ?!"
Harry was silent not know how to answer that question , the only thing he knows is that no matter what his heart always loves his alphas , his mates ... Not nick . Mick sat down on the ground in front of harry but didn't looked in his eyes , he kept his gaze downward as he whispered ,
"Alpha always use to talk about you , the way you are and not only about your looks but also your personality . At that time I used to hate you , because I thought that all praises about you is his perspective , that you are not as great as he thought but now just after meeting you for an hour I can say that alpha might not be wrong after all ... "
"I am not that great or different . I am just an omega who is not afaird to do what he wants ." Harry immediately replied with a firm tone which made Mick to smile a little.
"Well I guess that's the fact that make you different from other . Anyways I just want to say that don't feel like you are a hostage here , we all respect you cause we respect and love our alpha . But if you ever tried to hurt him more than you already have then we will not hesitate to show our real face to you ."
With that he got up and went towards the door when harry asked from behind ,
"What has nick ever done for you that you worship him like an ideal ?"
"It has not even been two hours since you are here omega , just wait for some time and you'll understand everything ."
Just like that he was gone leaving a angry , upset , tried and frustrated harry behind . He looked at the plate in front of him deciding he will not eat anything here but his aching stomach made him lose all his dignity . After all he was a starving wolf who had went through a lot today without having a single meal . He thought about his mom and alex hoping they all were alright ..
"They are fine bud . Their alpha's found them in a perfect condition on outskirts of the city ."
"And butterfly , Kendall , cara , Cathy , ed , dad , Gemma ..??"
"They are all fine bud. Don't worry ."
"And alphas ?"
"...."
Guardian Angel's silence was the answer that said everything . His alphas were not fine , how can they be after all they have been betrayed by their own omega . Harry just hope that they would forgive him one day . He opened the window and felt the cold air rush in . He closed his eyes whistling soflty in the silent atmosphere . The people who heard the whistle immediately fell asleep because that tune he was whistling was actually as sleeping spell he learned from zayn's friends ; perrie and jade .
After having his food and enjoying the silence for a while harry layed down on the mattress forcing sleep to take over his body. After tomorrow was a big day for everyone ..
(Next morning)
It was early morning when harry woke up and the first thing he saw was the Nick's face staring at him . He closed his eyes back with a sigh hoping it all to be a bad dream .
"Good morning babe .."
"Nick please get out ."
Harry said not at all politely covering his face with a pillow .
"Okay okay I am going . Freshen up and then come down , hurry up ."
Nick said kissing Harry's hand softly before getting up and going out of the room quietly . Harry layed on his back looking up at the ceiling with a frown before screaming inside his pillow .
As soon as harry came downstairs after his morning routine he noticed his place was so different from the outer world . It was so natural and beautiful , completely opposite of what he had originally imagined. The walls were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean . This place let out a calming feeling along with a happy aroma around . Or maybe harry has stayed in a dump yard for a very long time. Either way the place was good ..
After roaming for a bit harry found out the whole mansion was empty ; where is everyone . Finally he heard noise coming form the dinning hall or what he thought was the place meant for eating . So everyone was having their breakfast .. he thought about skipping the breakfast but he was starving . After debating for some time he finally entered inside making the room turn absolutely silent .
Okay so originally he had imagined there would be like ten-fifteen people inside having their breakfast but he was absolutely shocked to see almost fifty or sixty werewolf eating at the never ending table . God what on the earth is this place ?? some type of clan or something . At the very end was nick sitting a bit away from the rest like a king with an empty seat right beside him ; guess for whom . If nick thinks harry will have breakfast over here than he is wrong .
Harry turned back and went away from the place leaving everyone dumbfound . Instead he went to the kitchen and tried to make a simple yet healthy breakfast for himself . If he wanted to escape this place then he has to gain his energy back quickly . As he was cutting some tomatos when he felt someone sneaking up on him . Without thinking twice he threw the knife in his hand at the person behind him .
Behind him was an beta who was just passing by the kitchen , he looked scared till death watching the knife get stuck deep inside the wall right beside his ear with just an inch difference . Harry turned to see the paled face beta staring at the big sharp knife and tried to hold back his laughter .
"What are you doing here ?"
"I-I came to g-get some w-water .." the beta stutters looking at harry with his wide eyes while harry shook his head walking towards him .
"Next time try not to act like a spy and creep up on me ." He said taking the knife out and going back to chopping his veggies while the beta looked like he was not going to get any sleep that night ...
'What kind of terrifying , brave , scary and beautiful omega is he ?' he thought in his mind while walking back to the dining hall , his thirst for water long forgotten .
Harry cooked himself some tomato soup and some avocado sandwich ; simple but healthy .. he took the tray and went towards the stairs to go inside the room when he heard faint yells coming from the corridor ,
"YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME , YOU ARE NOT MY DAD !!"
"I am not trying to control you , I just want the best for you ... I just -"
"DON'T TRY TO FOOL ME BROTHER ... I KNOW YOU VERY WEll !!!"
"SPENCER !! GET BACK HERE !!"
Harry saw the alpha running upstairs while the red haired guy aka mick was trying to follow him. Mick stopped when he saw harry at the bottom but his brother paid no attention to harry and rushed upstairs .
"Ummm .. I am sorry you had to hear all that .. actually it's not like what it seems .. it's -"
"You don't have to explain anything to me , I am not a part of your family or clan or pack or whatever this is .. I am not someone important or permanent so don't bother . "
With that been said harry went upstairs to his room but stopped when he heard cries coming from the other side of the corridor . He tried to ignore it but at the end couldn't , he walked towards the noise and found out it was Mick's brother ; Spencer crying . He let out a frustrated sigh .. family problems .
He knocked on the door that was open to get the attention of Spencer ,
"Can I come in ?"
"Yes , yes sure .. come in ." Spencer replies wiping his tears in a hurry . Harry went inside and placed the tray on the bed in between both of them.
"Actually I had made breakfast for myself but it's very much for me alone so do you mind sharing ."
Spencer gave harry a surprised look but took the toast from him mummering a thank you . They both ate in silence until Spencer couldn't take it anymore ...
"C'mon just say it already .."
"What ?"
"That the toast is poisoned ."
Harry looked at him confused while Spencer stared at the half eaten toast in his hands ,
"Why would I try to kill you ?"
"Because yesterday I tried to hurt you and I am one of those who have kept you here without your will and for thousand more reasons .." Spencer whispered in a sad tone .
"Yes all what you said is right so tell me something Spencer , why am I not killing you . Why did I save you yesterday ?"
Spencer looked at harry without saying anything ,
"Because there are people out there who love you and your mistakes are not any bigger than their love ." Harry replied sincerely while Spencer scoffed .
"No one loves me , my mom , dad left me when I was just a baby . Alpha nick is waiting for the moment I make a mistake too kick me out , and Michael .. he just wants to control me . So please tell me omega who Love's me ?"
He said with tears in his eyes but he dared not cry . Harry sighed before patting his shoulder in a way of comfort ,
"Spencer , there is a fine line between caring and controlling . For many people out there caring can come off as controlling but it's not . If someone asks you to stay out of certain matters then it's not because they want to control you , it's because they care about you . They don't want to see you in danger , it's because they can bear to loose you . Tell me one thing if you have no one to call your family then so does Mick . The only family he has is you . How would you feel if he pushed you away or call you names when you want nothing but happiness for him .."
"I would feel angry at him , I would never talk to him again .."
"So according to you he should do the same to you ? Should he give up on you .. "
Spencer shook his head rapidly as a tear fell from his eyes , harry rubbed his head like a small child while saying ,
"So what should you do now ?"
"I will go and apologize for shouting at him .."
Spencer said with a guilty smile on his face while harry nodded in encouragement . Mick and nick was at the door listening to the whole conversation from the start . Mick had tears in his eyes while nick had a proud smile on his face .
"He truly is something else .." Mick said while sniffing .
"He is harry ." Nick replied with a smile on his face .
