Third person's p.o.v
Radhika covered her face which was probably bright shade of red, Shivam looked at her in aww and handed her coffee.
"After this take medicine and rest ok, I'll be in my study room if you need anything just let me know" Radhika nodded at him and sat oh her bed as he left the room she hurried to t.v remote and started surfing through random channels finally she settled at a movie which was obviously a horror movi looke again, even though she was Damm scared of ghosts and dark. She had a weird obession with horror movies, it's like they were inviting her to watch them and then get scared of slightest thing.
So being an stubborn idiot she is, she switched off the lights of her room closed all the curtains and made sure each window was locked so no one, not even the ghost can enter to scare her, finally moving towards washroom door she did the same with it.
"Finally I'm safe... Shitt..." She cursed herself looking at the open wordrobe she made a run to it locking the door,and sat down on the bed with remote in her hand a big teddy to cuddle and a thick blanket to wrap around herself and boom she was ready to watch the movie all by herself.
The movie started and it was okay at the starting but soon started getting scarier, it was getting interesting but a big thunder had to ruin it and the storm, which was so strong that the window which she thought was shut tightly sarted to shutter making a weird noise, the strong winds blew curtains open and the closing and opening of windows making it even more scarier, she looked at the window then at the tv same thing was happening in the movie making her more scared.
"Remote where is it..." She tried to search but the lack of light made it impossible to see anything.
Radhika's p.o.v
Where is the remote I thought, I thought for the first time I would behave like a brave girl and watch a horror movie by myself .
"Brave my foot... " Now the remote is playing hide and seek with me, I can't do anything, I can't even leave this blanket which is the only way to protect myself from these scary ghost and Mr teddy is here with me, but I'll have to do something, and that something I did was to hide my whole body in the blanket. I looked like a gift wrap not a single part of my body showing not even my legs.
Don't know why I suddenly started feeling dizzy, maybe the medicines are finally kicking in thank god... I was lost in my own world when the door of my room opened. Tv was switched off I guess since no voice of that ghost was heard, but then a creaking sound came as if someone was opening the door, then the bed dipped and my heartbeat stopped.
"It must that girl's ghost who came in to kill me, good save me, after sometime he tv was off, god I promise I won't ever dare to see not even think of horror movie just save me this once let the ghost spare my life I swear on my life I'll never ever think about doing something like this again..." I was parying to God and also mentally preparing myself to face the ghost, suddenly the blanket was pulled off me and a hand was placed on my head making me scream loudly.
"Please... Please don't kill... Me... I didn't do anything... Please I... Will never ever see a horror movie again if you leave me just this time... Please..."
"I'll leave you if you promise to sleep and never ever again try to do something like this...followed by a weird laugh" the voice was different superiseingly it was not of a girl instead it was rough and kind of horse, but does it even matter if the ghost is girl or boy when it is going to kill you in end stupid Radhika.
"I..." I was going to say something when the ghost chuckled and called me.
"Radhika..." Wait the voice is familiar, I opened my eyes and looked at him, there he was standing, trying hard to control his laughter I was so embrassed and scared shitless there he was laughing his guts out.
"Oh... My...god you get scared so easily, look at you wrapped up in blanket with this huge teddy like a scared kitten but still looking so cute, were you always like this or am I noticing it now..." He laughed again.
I was angry on him and more on myself what will he think of me now, that I'm a scared cat, I sat on bed and tried to push him but this gaint here didn't even budge so the only option left for me was to leave, I tried to stand up only to sit down when my head sting badly the sound of laughter stopped and there he was kneeling down and his hand already on my forehead.
" You have high fever oh god, are you alright I'm sorry maybe it's because I scared you, I just thought to have some fun and tease you... " He was worried and then an idea clicked in my mind, I pushed his hand and stood up and made way towards the door I knew he was following me and then I acted as if I'm going to faint he was fast to catch me before I hit the ground. Which I was sure I wouldn't.
"Now let's have some fun... Shall we..." I smriked.
Third person's p.o.v
Shivam was in shock, he didn't know what happened to her, but one thing was clear it just gave him mini heart attack. She was not well already and he scared her, he shouldn't have done that and now he regret it.
Lifting her in his arms, he placed her on the bed and tried to wake her up.
"Radhika... Hey Radhika... Wake up... C'mon..." He patted her face softly, his heart was beating loudly, he was just messing with her never wanted to do something so serious that she would faint.
"It's not funny Radhika wake up... I should call a doctor..." He was going to have a panicking attack soon e knew but she was more important.
He carresed her face and then kissed her forehead smoothly and went in bathroom to bring a bowl and cloth to keep on her head to reduce her tempreature, he was busy filling the bowl with cold water when.
"Booo...." Someone screamed loudly in his ears.
"Gotcha..." She was there now laughing her guts out looking at his horrified expression.
"Some kind of prank that was..." She wiped her eyes and looked at him, he was looking at her with an unreadable expression and without saying anything he left the room slamming the door in process.
"Now what happened to him... Why is he so hard to understand..." Although she was feeling a bit guilty but then he started it.
"He should be feeling guilty no me..." Saying this she lied on the bed but now all the lights were on and Mr teddy was there waiting for her, it has been half an hour and she was still not asleep twisting and turning and sleep was far away from her, top of that the movie she just watched was not letting her sleep peacefully she's still feeling scared even when Mr teddy was with her.
Finally with a sigh she woke up and left the room with Mr teddy in her hand, she was feeling sleepy now but at the same time scared also so he just though that she would sleep in his room tonight but on the couch not with him.
She entered his room only to find it empty thinking that may be he was in washroom she waited for him but after sometime when no sound came or any thing which could show he was here happened she left his room.
Roaming amilessly in the apartment she felt more scared it was dark and the storm and heavy lightening was the cheery at top but then she saw light coming from his study room.
"He must be there..." She knocked the door but no reply came so she did it again and again till the door was opned.
"I..." She started but he ignored her and went back to his study leaving the door open Saturday as taking the clue she entered inside and sat on the couch.
"Shouldn't you be sleeping now, you are not well and after the stunt you pulled you must be exhausted..." He said without looking at her.
"Why are you being so mean... I didn't start it... It was you who scared me first so I just took revenge..." She pouted.
"And now you are ignoring me..." She sat on couch he didn't say anything and countinued doing his work.
She was sitting there for quite long time, she wanted to sleep but before that she tried to talk to him.
"Why are you being so grumpy about it, it's not like I really fainted or something happened to me and it's not the first time I fainted so ya no big deal..." She was blabbering but stopped when she looked at his stormy grey eyes.
"You said it's not a big deal to you but Radhika it is a big deal to me, you have been hurt enough by me, even when you didn't deserve any of it and now, I don't want anything to happen to you because of me even if it is accidentally , do you know how scared I was to see you lying there in my arms, just like old times it brought so many bad memories, I don't want to be the same heartless monster I was, I can't hurt you even if it is by accident, you don't deserve that. If there is anything that you deserve is happiness, love and care as a delicate flower deserves... So ya it is a big deal for me..." And he again turned his head to opposite side.
"I'm feeling sleepy..." She said finally after it registered in her mind so to make it less awakard she just blurted it out.
"Then go and sleep and you are not well also..." He said again not looking at her.
When he heard nothing he looked back and noticed her, sitting on the couch, he raised his eyebrows.
"I can't sleep I'm sacred... Can I sleep here I won't disturb you promise..."
"No will have back pain go and sleep keep the lights on..."
"I will still feel scared can you Stay with me till I fell asleep...." She asked.
"Ok but I have some work I'll come after finishing it, go I'll just come in sometime...."he said.
"No I'll wait and she sat there sturbbornly.
After his work was done, it 2 Am he rubbed his eyes and looked at couch she was sleeping there in off position so he went to her, she was looking uncomfortable so he silently picked her up took her to room and made her sleep on bed.
As he was about to leave, there was a tug at his shirt, he looked down and saw she was clutching his shirt tightly.
"Don't go..." She mumbled in sleep and sat down beside her, resting his head on headboard he kissed her forehead and started crassing her hairs, she turned and took his hand in both her hands clutching it tightly
