Dianne POV
After Joe dropped me home, I knew where he was going. I hoped that he wouldn't be too aggressive, but I knew that because it affected me, he would be, and I had to accept that. About half an hour later, he stormed through the door, clearly bothered by something.
'What's up, what happened?' He sat on the sofa, leaning forward, clearly thinking heavily about something that happened.
'I just... I don't know. He admitted to it, but he told me that it was to do with the kiss, which I understood, until he told me that Evie broke up with him for me.'
'What?!'
'I know, I don't get it either, I literally haven't spoken to her since.'
'Well, maybe you should.'
'Yeah, probably. You should come as well, you were just as affected as me.' I nodded, and sat myself closer to him.
'It'll be fine.' I told him, looking deep into the pools of sapphire in his eyes. 'I promise.'
This is a short chapter today, because I wanted to get something out to THANK YOU, because this book is up for a Watty Award, and it's thanks to you for reading this and believing in it, so thank you, thank you, THANK YOU and wish me luck :)
